Very good choice. You got very good quality and a long lasting product for the price that you paid. Wishing you many many happy kilometers on this beauty. Ride safe! And don't get swayed by other people's opinions. It is not overpriced, you will realize that after you complete 1 lakh kilometers and it can still run for 2 lakh kilometers more.

@@pulkitrock that 400 cc won't stand the test of time. Yamahas are made to last more than 3 lakh kilometers. Also, a track day will prove each motorcycle's worth. The 400 cc will be left eating dust.

@@subhadipdutta9272 KTM RC 390 is priced higher in usa than yamaha r3 what is ur take on that ....I bought r15 v1 in 2009...for 1.03 lacs now the same motorcycle costs 2 lacs ....with localisation of parts price should have been like 1.5 lacs ...nd maintenance of parts is also more than dominor 400... I love yamaha but I am not stupid .... won't be buying r3 at this price...I will go for either ktm rc390 or TVs Apache 310....nd save the rest of my money for trips.😜

@@pulkitrock Nobody is saying that you are stupid. It is just that Dominar and R3 are a class apart. And I fully agree with you on the managing your finances part. But by the time the R3 covers 2.5 lakh kilometers one will have bought 2 KTMs. So overall, you spend the same amount of money, or maybe even more. Now, speaking of your R15, you bought it at a time when we probably has BS3 emission norms. With BS4, BS6, and BS6 Phase II, combined with COVID, we all know that nowadays 125 cc scooters cost the same as what an R15 cost back in 2009. So there has been a huge inflation in the last 12 years. Then with the addition of features and new technology like VVA and Bluetooth connectivity and LED lights and what not, the prices have increased by a huge margin. Petroleum products control the market buddy, you need to accept that. I bought an FZ S version 4 just 2 days ago, and people are already saying that my purchase decision has been a foolish one for the money that I paid, but I don't want to buy a TVS since I know that it won't last for 15 years without a lot of hassle. The value of money has come down. You also need to keep in mind that the purchasing power of people has gone up. Mine hasn't though since I buy motorcycles in cash, lol... Sorry for the bad joke, but people take EMIs to buy motorcycles and banks are ready to give loans. Now, coming to the R3, it is a CBU unit, so even though it gets 39 mm forks whereas the R15 gets 41 mm USD forks, that CBU tag will burn a hole in buyers' pockets. Yamaha made a bad decision by not manufacturing it locally, but once it does, I am sure prices will come down. Also, speaking of the RS457, it is a new bike and I will wait for 5 years for people to complain about the quality of plastics and brakes and other things. All in all, I personally believe that the R3 will be a great purchase for people who can afford to buy it in cash, not loan. Lastly, I reiterate, I never meant to say that you are stupid. Sorry if my last comment bothered you.
