Congrats! The spec is awesome and tasteful. Im sure you already know but nothing beats the carbon ceramic brakes. I have them on my 50 Jahre G80 M3 Comp XDrive. In terms of the unboxing I left some of the pre packaging stuff on mine like the plastic on the iDrive screen. Looking forward to more content on this car.

Congrats on your G80 50 Jahre! What color did you get? And yes, the CCBs are pretty epic, probably also the closest thing to automotive "jewelry" as it can get? 😆

@@JamesBachiciChannel my car is Interlagos Blue. It's the 50 Jahre homage to the E46 M3. Yes the CCBs are indeed jewelry.... they certainly cost enough. 🤣

How long did it take to receive it? I sold my 21 g80 and just bought a 24 g80. Havent gotten allocation but im hoping it comes next year 2024 may/june

It took a little over 8 months from the day I placed the build order through my dealership - you can actually go back and watch the full process 👍 congrats on the G80! What color are you thinking?

Great question - zero markup. There's a BMW dealership next to me that had a CSL for sale with a markup of $20K. I elected to work with BMW Seattle since they don't do markups and their service is aces 👍

F80 is better. Looks better, manual, and 4pot rear brakes.

It comes down to personal preference. Seems like you're more keen on the F8X platform (which is phenomenal, no doubt) also note that the rear brakes on the F8X were only 4 piston if you got the Carbon Ceramic option. And as far as manual goes, that wasn't a choice we got for the CS variant unfortunately, be it F80 or G80.

@@JamesBachiciChannel I just can’t ignore what I mentioned. To me they are deal breakers. I hate that they have tiny rear calipers because of the electronic parking brakes. It’s a lot of money spent for an uglier, automatic car, with an ordinary rear brake setup.

@@EJ20VF39 I hear you, it's hard to unsee or make peace with certain things - and we've all got our own idiosincrqocies. There's no denying the performance though. The adjustable 4WD system absolutely trounces anything from arguably every previous M3 generation just through sheer mechanical grip and the ability to transfer the power onto the road.

It was fire, but this new one also warmed my heart when I first saw it, so I had to do it 🥲 the good news is, the person that bought my F80 CS said I could stop by and see/drive the blue beauty whenever I want so that's a plus!
