I am a diehard gravekeeper fan. The only deck I played. People use to see my gravekeeper mat and know they where in for a tough match. Thank you for playing it

I don't get it. Gravekeepers have so much support, yet every deck I find uses like 6 monsters from it and 4 spells. There are 36 cards of the archtype, and still only 10 are even used out of 55 cards. I understand staples are required cuz it's non meta, but ffs, this is not gravekeeper deck. It's staple deck. Granted only 1 extra deck card exist for gravekeepers.

Sadly, I think the biggest problem is that most of the gravekeeper cards were made nearly 20 years ago and have been power creeped to the point that most aren't very good. It is tough to add more gravekeepers cards and have the deck be decent. But I definitely know what you are saying. I really hope they can get some new cards to make them meta relevant again!

I basically use the same thing in way but instead of going full GK I just use nefrovalley for the effect for my deck and then use the statues to make it where they can only summon one type and the. I run 3 solum judgement and solem strikes with 2 ashes 2 max c 2 calling from the grave 2 takedown traps to take control of a monster 3 imperms 3 moon shields 1 yata 1 skill drain and a bunch of tiger negate traps/ spells and monster fact cards

This deck stops pretty much all meta decks that you encounter now that make the game not fun to play so to make it fun for yourself just run this deck and make it where they can’t play instead of you not being able to play

I also run a kaiju and lava golem and a Ra Ball for any boss monsters that can be problematic like baron and sword soul etc

@@TheRealTcgGuy that really couldn't be all... there's so many decks in dire need of scraping top locals tables. but believe me id love to see it just to theorize how well the stuff would work. Id love to see a new gravekeeper release that re-invigorates the monster line up, but I feel like the deck will still be necrovalley centric and for good reason. Paleozoics have only had one new archetype card since launch, and their best friends in frogs got taken out back. Cardians are in that spot where they are archetype locked and can't do much within it, but even if they could, the decks inconsistent due to it's design that it often beats me before the opponent does. and then theres stuff like Arcana force... though Id love to see that or a mass Dark Scorpion retrain.

I've been thinking about using gravekeepers for a bit now. I have been a die-hard tri brigade player and still am, but I've become fascinated by the more floodgatey/control styles of play like floowanders and sky strikers. Do you think runicks might go well alongside gravekeeps?

Sadly, runick and gravekeepers don't go well together. This is because gravekeepers' main card necrovalley doesn't allow cards to leave the graveyard, and runicks main card, runick fountain, wants you to shuffle runick cards back into the deck from the graveyard to draw.

@@TheRealTcgGuy there a catch actually. run fountain normally while using necrovalley 'double' (if i recall correctly, there some GK card that treat itself/field as necrovalley)

@@satyayana1399 there is. Gravekeeper's priestess treats the field as necrovalley, but only if there is no face up field spell. Unfortunately it still does not work.

It still blows my mind that something like tearlaments+kashtira bastard deck support is a thing. Lets take tier 0 and tier 1 decks, and make some SUPPPORT for them that makes them work off each other. If that someone died, its sad, but at least he won't reproduce.

That second to last monster was always the bane of my existence when I played gravekeeper as well. Any time I did just about anything, a card I need gets banished and it always screwed up my play entirely.
