hullo, welcome to da new video! (i'm starting a posting schedule of weekly on fridays, and we barely made it with this one haha!). as someone who ~lives alone~, it can be very easy for me to hermit and spend all my time indoors, working remote. but, i've gotten into the habit of taking myself out, whether it be for dinner and a piping hot bowl of bun bo hue, or going on an 8 hour long day date like today! from ice skating to solo museum adventures, i hope this video serves as a reminder (and example maybe?) of how the best company can be found within ourselves. mucho kisses to ya!

As a single 20 year old who has never been in a relationship or even kissed anyone, I realized long ago that my biggest goal is to love and take care of myself, finding a boyfriend/girlfriend can come after. I can’t properly give myself to a relationship with someone if I don’t love myself. Hydrate yourself, nurture yourself, focus on yourself, and it’s okay to be selfish at times! edit: i'm now a single 21 year old who has STILL never kissed anyone or been in a relationship. I love myself more than ever, remember to hug yourself and take yourself out on dates. treat yourself like you'd treat your lover, and strengthen your relationships with family and friends also!

I don't know how but linh has literally explained my whole feeling on being single, like i used to always have someone I want to go out with or liked but now I just have be loving being alone, going out for drives to clear my mind and eat a nice lunch by my self is what I love doing I am glad I can realate to someone so amazing

there's a stigma that you can't grow while being in a relationship, and i think with the right partner, communication, and time, personal and individual growth can happen and will be a priority. it's about balance and setting boundaries, what do you give and get? i also believe most relationships/friendships are meant to be temporary and help you on your journey! love you and your videos linh xx

I really love the idea of taking yourself on your own little dates! For those of us who aren't able to go out as much (whether it's because of finances or any other reason), I really reccomend reading something cozy, playing a nostalgic game, or going into passions/hobbies you like a lot. Even just eating something you always eat under some warm sheets is really nice.

Omg! Finally someone who has the same feelings toward dating app! I went through college being the ONLY ONE in my friend group who wasn’t using it and had an ex-friend who actually made me feel almost “bad” not using it! Like I was missing out on something or an experience in my early 20s. It just never felt right for me! THEN near the end of my uni degree, I met my now husband (I’m 26 now) on a summer semester in Europe in the most “meet cute” way! ❤

i’ve always hated how pressured people are to be in relationships from such an early age. it’s rlly sad that like literal middle schoolers feel the need to have someone to hold hands with on valentine’s day and such. i’m literally still a teenager, yet i feel so alone because i’ve never been in a real relationship before, especially since a lot of my friends are dating or have dated other people. i’m trying to get more comfortable with being single and not having rlly any crushes and it’s rlly hard to do!! props to u for being able to take urself out on dates and such cuz it’s hard to do self care honestly. great video btw, love ur content as always :)

I'm also single, and I usually don't see myself getting dating or starting relationships. I love to be in my own space and in peace. Honestly isn't either about my sexuality, and it is just how I feel about the word "love". Having 'icks' makes go far away about the mindset: "Oh no, I better just stay single forever." I'm in my first year of uni in a different country and it's been a journey to find peace with spending time with myself and getting to know who I am. I used to get jealous of couples and negatively reflect that onto myself but now I'm fully desensitized, if I see a couple all I think is that I'm just happy for them. You are a smart person, and your channel is a joy to watch. Please do not use the dating apps. I am a soon to be 52 year old single person, and have been single my entire life-as in never been married. I have met people I have dated a variety of ways. The best way to meet someone is through your interests, hobbies, places of worship, university, or perhaps work. Because you are on the Internet it’s probably better that you meet somebody through people you already know. Often people online pretend to be someone they’re not, and do the whole cat fishing thing. Being single and thoroughly knowing yourself well is worth the wait for the right person. But I know you know all of this, however, I just wanted to reiterate. Kudos to the people who do meet on apps, and it all works out but I think they’re the exception and not the rule.

3:55 me too linh! ever since i got out of a long 2 yrs relationship (kinda) i have been getting the ick with literally anything romantic that people do! sometimes things i do too!! but i relate with not wanting to be in a relationship or whatever because it just made me realize that i prefer being around my friends and that im not a dating person at all!!! any maybe thats because of the trauma that my asian household gave to me but i just no longer linger relationships :) nd for me thats positive because it made me feel like im okay to just be alone and be me at the end of the day! yes it can get lonely at times but i hate commitment and relationships

I read somewhere that if you want to be friends after a relationship you need to give eachother time to grieve the loss of the relationship and heal yourself. If you jump right into hanging out with eachother right away then you'll never become your 9wn person and will be linked to them for ages. So take time and heal and love yourself before coming friends (if thats a thing you want to do.)

i love how cozy your videos are!! i'm so sorry you're going through a break up, but it's such a process to get out of! being in a different part of your life now (out of college) makes you see things much more differently than those still in it. highly recommend going to local meetups or volunteering to branch out if you're looking for that! also maybe raya might be for u to meet people (once you want to!) so the influential power dynamic is less.

I definitely had that same feeling after getting out of a long term relationship a few years ago where for once I didn't have anyone I had an interest in and I just wanted to be single. I'm also definitely a hopeless romantic, and I still enjoyed seeing other people in realtionships be happy, but it took a while to get back to want to get into dating. I enjoyed not really thinking about dating for a while and it really felt like a breath of fresh air. I'm glad you talked about being single, it was very comforting linh!

(not cuz it was very different from the other ones or that i loved them less but just the vibe) I love listening to you rant about life and just talk about ur self, it feels like ur a friends just giving me a life update.
