They are measuring it the wrong way around you put the tip of the measure tape at the back of the jump mark and the pull it tight across the front of the take off board and measure it that way. I was doing 4.70 when I was 12

Lol where I live (in highschool) you have to jump 5.71 for a A and 5.85 for a A+(Boys)

Men and Women are physically very different. Testosterone and genetics gives men a significant advantage is almost all sports. The male record in long jump is 8.95 meters. The Women's is 7.52. Brooke Stratton (the athlete in this video) holds the Australian record of 7.05, I doubt she was going all out.

I expected more from Andy. The dude is 191 cm (6'2") and used to play basketball. I am 167, just under 5'5", and jumped 6.19 m in high school. FYI, Brooke's personal best is 7.05 m, and she is slightly shorter than myself. Epic.
