Besides you can change the troop bonuses to make it fair. Let's be honest someone who can generate 80 troops a turn is ridiculous

If you don’t have any thing in front of a big number you can’t use it and your opponents can’t use a big number to attack on that turn if it is covered

You can only have 5 territory cards at a time so the "new turn" exists to keep you under that limit

Yes but it fundamental ruins the game. Steve literally eliminated campy by the skin of his teeth, wining the final fight with only a single survivor, but that rule forced him to get more troops allowing him to go and backdoor stead (which he was in no position to do at the start of that turn) and then eliminate Jerome because he was once again forced to deploy more troops. Bad rule ruins the fun of the game

If at anypoint you have more than 5 cards even dueing attack phase you are sent back to you place troops faze to redeem cards and then get a second attack phase
