Hey I've got happy memories of the Radio 1 roadshow when it used to come down here to Bournemouth. It was packed out as far as I remember. Simon Bates did always seem a bit middle aged for it though. I remember we had the very young and trendy Simon Mayo 😂 Anyway good to see the Sand Scorcher out and about. On my pre fire Scorcher I had done this amazing steering mod where I put the servo up front so it had a standard servo saver attached directly to the steering rods like most 2wd kits. I keep meaning to do the same mod to my current scorcher and make a video about it but I need to make a custom bracket and haven't quite got round to it like so many things. Anyway, good stuff as ever 👍

I do think that the wider front wheels restricts my options but I did think of something more direct, I might look at putting spacers on the wheels to widen the stance 🤔👍

Never been to Rhyl, but looks like a great place for an RC run 😂😂 question is…would you travel back again for another RC blast….hmmmm…?😂😂the Sand Scorcher looked great though and seemed to move along smartly. Best wishes 😊

How did you get a BZ in the scorcher I tried to fit one and the motor mount cover won’t tighten up .the motor heatsink is too tall .

I think there is multiple holes that it can be lined up with. I know I didn’t have to drill anything and it is in securely. It’s a brilliant motor for this model, just try moving it around and line it up with the other holes 👍

Rhyl:The town that wishes it was Blackpool. I live in Southport. The town that's glad it's neither. At least here we counter the Incredible poverty by ignoring it and celebrating £9 an effing pint. I never went to a Radio One Roadshow. I also missed out on once meeting Stuart Hall. I feel like writing a book: "The Unfiddled Child".
