Had a set of those in back in 2014 when my doc fixed my deviated septum. Having it straighten was one of the best things I’ve done to improve my overall wellbeing.

Having had this surgery 3x and am going back for a 4th soon I can unequivocally say that is the best feeling on the planet. Getting those taken out is so good.

I had my splinter removed after septoplasty and it was not smooth like this ( maybe different technique , tool , splinter or something else is the reason) . The doctor just pulled it out with one neat jerk and it was most painful thing i have ever experienced in my life. Maybe satisfying to watch but horror to go through.
