I have been watching Sonne Farms for several years. I came across your site and got hooked. I have to say Black Angus cattle got nothing on these pigs! 😅 They definately know how to throw their weight around, and they jump 😅😅😅 ❤ watching! Baby piglets sooo cute ❤

Your pigs are growing very well and you raise them very modernly. I have some problems with my farm, my pigs are not eating and I suspect there is African swine fever, do you have any solutions?

We got some of them bin sensors one time. We have 4 bins and my integrator was doing some tests with them and the company that sold them told us it would be about a dollar a month. $48 per year to not have to climb bins sounds good, but then they told us it would be a dollar per day $1460 per year ain’t worth it.

I know farmers dont do this...i hrew up on a small farm and raised our own animals, pigs too and butchered them around 300 lbs. Omg the hams we got off them and the bacon...not to mention chops. I really dont know why people frown upon a 300 lb hog?. Love your videos...brings back some good and not so good memories. Xoxi

They are close to 300lbs. They want a 220lb hanging weight at the packers so all the cuts are the same in the grocery store and restaurants

How well did the lid fit over the sensor's cord. The cord looked like it was running parallel to the ground and the lid would be bending the cord ninety degrees when the lid closed. Just wondering if the cord connection would be better making ninety degree turn straight down to minimize the impact to the lid and avoid cord getting worn threw by the lid.

i see that it wouldnt hard to turn oldest family sheep barn into pig barn as it almost has same setup but with concrete and timber instead of metal but our newer buildings is build different with flooring. ohh the good old checking the bin with rubber hammer on a stick is what i have done but we also has plastic bins with clear window but its failed safety as you never get crops 100% laying but i once asked a wiser person why they dont have a clear plastic pipe on outside to tell how much is in the bin and i was told it get clogged up easy so sensor is smart thing but we also load through pipe that get blown in from bottom and when you see it start to rain from top by the fan you know its full and have to sweep the area.

Don't you feel remorse for your crimes against these innocent creatures? Don't you see that they love life like you and don't want to die? Don't you see how much they are afraid of dying and scream out of fear? Do you want someone to treat you and your family or loved ones like this? If you have an iota of compassion and conscience, stop this dirty work. (Eating meat is a crime Meat is the product of violence and murder, not food.🤬🤬
