There is no point in arriving to the station 1 hour in advance. 20 mins would be more than enough, security check is way milder than in the airport. Otherwise, your video is great!

Do the security guys that put your luggage through the xray machines check if your within the 1 hr you talked about or is it somebody before you even reach the xray machines?

I believe so! They were the first point of contact before being able to get through to the waiting area for passengers.
