I grew up on a farm outside Thorsby and went to school here and church at St Mathew's Lutheran. Been too many of these stores, especially Ku's and the Thorsby Hotel. I live in Vancouver now, but my parents, Janice and Gerhard Neuman, still live on the farm and frequent Thorsby a lot as they are a 15 minute drive away. I love coming back to visit. I heard the Thorsby Family Restaurant got another operator in and their pizza went downhill as Jerry is not their anymore. But the Thorsby Hotel has great pizza.

In my small town, buddy down the street someone tried to steal his truck, unlucky for the thieves he came out of his house with his 22 and the truck was a diesel so they couldn't get it started. Also unlucky for the thieves the guy next door is OPP. But other than that, good place lots of nice people. You have a lot in your town, we recently lost our bank, even though they were busy all the time and we are a farming community.

Dude, I dream about living in a town like this. Two ways I could easily live out the rest of my days, either in a small town like this, or somewhere in the wilderness. I've often said that if I ever won the lottery I'd buy 4 or 5 hundred acres in Montana on the Canadian border close to BC. I have to admit, when I saw that place for rent in the video, it raised an eyebrow. I'd become a regular at the Thorsby bar. All I need is brandy, whiskey, cheap cigars, and tobacco for my pipe. 👍 Cheers buddy!
@marcelstjean2 жыл бұрын
We are close to the wilderness. Montana on the Canadian border close to BC would rock.. I brought in the stripers at the Thorsby.. I'm kind of of proud of that.. Great bands come trough too. Brandy, whiskey, cheap cigars, and tobacco for your pipe.. We have that down the road. Cheers brother.
