Help me out here man. The Richtofen that dies in BOTD, is that our original Primis Richtofen from Origins, or is that the Richtofen from the Great War that was frozen since technically we are first sent back by the shadow man where we are playing as “primis Richtofen”, right? Which one dies in BOTD and which one is here???

@@josiahcone7506 There's three Richtofens in this chapter which can be confusing so I'll explain the best I can. Richtofen in the intro cutscene handing over the Kronorium is his future self planning the events of the lab and helping his younger self about what's going to happen. Because something changed in the Kronorium, he basically told the Richtofen he was suppose to meet to do it himself and left his other counterpart behind. This nervous looking Richtofen comes from a dimension where he's experienced Origins, Der Eisendrache, and Zetsubou No Shima. He wanted to grab the blood from Alcatraz so they don't end up being erased when they go after Nikolai's soul BUT...the future has changed. Richtofen can't get Nikolai's soul because the Richtofen that got sent back to the Great War from Revelations was waiting this whole time to break the cycle using the crystal he obtained from Pedro. Tl;dr: Richtofen survived during the Great War battle thanks to Pedro and remembering the events to end the cycle. He wears his Great War uniform and has a scar on his face.

@@josiahcone7506 There's many Richtofens that have gone through the cycle, the one from Revelations just happened to go through all the events and survived the aftermath during the Great War. So yes it is Origins Richtofen, but he survived long enough to change the cycle compared to his other counterparts.

If you think about no matter what they did they all had to die eventually. Even if they went to the Great War and fought Monty there would be no way they would stop the cycle all over again since 115 would still be present because they still live.

I come from the very far future bringing bad news. Due to 115 exposure and the events set in place, ultamis and primis are directly linked to the aether. So in the end, they truly died. Also the voice actor for takeo died from a stroke I’ve heard
