A 1958 episode of "I've Got a Secret", with host Garry Moore and panelists Bill Cullen, Jayne Meadows, Henry Morgan, and Betsy Palmer, on which talented but unknown relatives of much better-known celebrities appear and perform.
Rita Hayworth's first cousin Suzanne Cansino and her brother Edward (Eduardo) Cansino appear in a dance number.
Dean Martin's mother Angela Crocetti serves ravioli and pasta fagioli to the panel.
Dramatic readings: Joel McCrea's son Jody McCrea reads "angrily" from the New York telephone directory, Joan Bennett's daughter Melinda Markey reads "lovingly" from the Help Wanted ads in the New York Times, and Loretta Young's daughter Judy Lewis reads "sadly" from IRS Form 1040.
Betty Furness's daughter Barbara Green appears next to a "Winstonhouse" refrigerator.
Yul Brynner's sister Vera Brynner sings "Shall We Dance?" and dances with Garry.

And Yul Brynner's sister got a carton, too. Yul later died of lung cancer and before his death warned people not to smoke. The American Cancer Society turned that film clip into a powerful ad after his death. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gLSaqNGdvLuuen0.html

I don’t think there was much known about the connection between smoking and health problems at that time. Most or all of the medical doctors at our clinic had packs of cigarettes in their shirt pockets. They quit when it became obvious that smoking could cause health problems.

Growing up, smoking from age 12, watching my heavy smoking 59 year old grandmother die of lung cancer, the controversy was always “is there actual proof smoking causes cancer”… Later it was revealed that the tobacco industry had deliberately hidden the damaging truth from the public in the interests of sales and profits.

Wow! That was a tricky position for Judy to put herself in when she looks so much like her celebrity secret father! Holy cow. Did she not yet know? I thought the first young man did indeed look like a young John Wayne as well.

1st health warning about cigarettes/tobacco was in 1964--The Surgeon General's report. I've been appalled that they were giving out cartons of cigarettes to guests.

I cringe when they hand out cigarettes, but the people who were relatives were spectacularly talented. Nice show!
