In Indian dramas they just swap brides and this swapped bride comes with her face covered completely by a translucent veil and just at the moment where final formality of the marriage is completed, the original bride comes and yells STOP and everyone's like 👁️👄👁️ *(with individual zoom shots, lightning thunder and glass shattering effects)* But it's too late and the groom realizes what disaster just happened to him💀 (But they eventually somehow fall in love and turns out the original one would have been toxic af as she was the villain)

Either that happens or some weird shit happens before the wedding start... (Kidnapping, bride dies, bride runs away for the safety of the groom and marries childhood friend who dies at the wedding and then gets married to the groom years later after finding out her adopted mother was actually groom's biological mother (fuck you forevermore. You and and your multiple plot twist), etc. Filipinos love it when weddings get messed up)

Closest thing i can think of is purple hyacinth. A webtoon were fl(lauren) can hear when ppl lie and she is a suspended detective who works in the police force due to reasons related to her trauma about a t3rror1st attack by a mafia a decade before. She makes a deal with 1 of their best assassains to uncover the leader and find the truth about everything, like her missing friend. But things will get hard as traitors may be among the ppl she knows. Plus corruption. A good thriller.

Thanks for drawing my attention to it. The bride's was so brief I had to keep looking at it to see what hers was like. Hers being so normal with a few blemishes compared to the groom's warped and twisted one was so cool.
