Not only is she the most memorable mage (a priestess who uses attack magic exclusively and holds a wide sword? She broke the stereotype!), but she's voiced by one of the most prolific seiyu in history. Though she doesn't run very fast, I see she's more than capable of handling herself at close range. Her bomb moves set up some nice combo and juggling chances too :)

I've played every Tales game and I'd have to say that Destiny had the best art design for it's attacks and spells. Closest thing to this would be Graces f.

My favorite Tales character of all time. Philia, a mix of intelligence, OP offensive magic (contrary to a typical priestess) signature moves such as the Philia bomb and hosh darnit, she is just so darn adorable.

in english the move is Sacred Pennence and in Japanese its Sacred Blame. simple as that. even in Tales of the Abyss cameo battle Philia called it Sacred Pennence in english.

@indiguneishon Technically, Indignation is a representative of the "Lightning of Judgment", or something like that (don't remember literally) that many cultures believed. If you enraged gods they would lighting your ass. Rather, Rebirth Crusader is referencing the lightning that gave birth to life. One theory for the beggining of life involves a thunder that started life. Basically, Rebirth Crusader is involved with positiveness while Indignation is negativeness

I think she should have been, she's a much more memorable character then Rutee. Plus Kyle would have been even cooler if Philia was his mother. She probably would have put fresh banana pies, and homemade grenades in his lunchbox to fling at monsters and school bullies.

I like that she's a offensive-only priestess, though I still wish she had healing spells, she would have been a perfect character for me :') Thank god there's cheats that exist to set any arte to any character! That way I can be the healer of my friend group while still playing as her

Though Rebirth Crusader is frigging cool. I still love Jade's Indignation. I mean it looks cool and just has that one big BOOOM! Feels so good to pull off. Although I think that there is not a mystic arte yet that compares to Lost Fon Drive, not even Rowen's Grand Finale.

@88daj I think Harold is the best magic user, but Philia comes a close second. Philia is my favorite character in the series though.

Well I usually put both the original and localized names due to that. I agree some of the translations are pretty terrible. ToGf has a couple arte localizations that really make me scratch my head for instance. About Marian -> Demon Attack it's quite understandable. You see, the actual kanji for "Marian" does translate to Demon Attack; it's a pun. They even removed Leon yelling "Marian" in ToDr to make it subtler. But it's hard to keep the pun and pronounciation in english, sadly :(

Tales of grace f spells and stuff look similar and I don't really like how it looks. They both have colors that are doing way to much. In other tale games it was simple and not all extra like this and grace f.
