Useful information and correction: as I mentioned in the beginning of the first chapter, the Tanorians I'm recommending are only among the revealed ones. You'll be able to find stronger Tanorians during your adventure. Also, Nekronsole won't be on release, so you can probably replace it with Wattsp or Citress! I hope pvp won’t be like pokemon showdown , the satisfaction of breeding & finding the perfect team through hours of work then being able to take those into battle is a part of what made PvP fun aswell! Hopefully you guys change your mind when it comes out

There will be two different gamemodes. Both of them will have their own rewards you'll be able to obtain. BUT the gamemode where you grind your own team will have more rewards than the one with the Showdown system.

Mr can you tell me which tanorians are best to start off with like which ones you should get in route 1 or 2 can you tell me the Unevoloved version so I know what to go for since when I played doodle world I had to go back to get good doodles that are uneveolved good day great vid and see you later ash putchum

A very interesting question, considering I barely even mentioned trading. I'm not sure, myself, but I think trading will be available in future updates alongside PvP. useful information about trading, though: Starters you will pick in the laboratory will be trade locked.

We didn't decide that at the time I released the video. And I got super upset when releasing the video and only a few hours after that, being told we'd release with 2 gyms and have the animations fixed by next week.

will this game have evs, and if so, how do we train for it? is starter nature important for pvp or can we breed them later on

EVs are a thing in the game and they should work the same as usual. As for the starters, you can both catch them in the wild and you'll also be able to breed them.

ill be honest, theyre gonna have to put in a lot of effort to convince me. The scummy pokemon bait and switch in the beginning was NOT cool, and calling themselves the "Pokemon brick bronze successor" when Loomian Legacy already exists, which is made by the same devs? Yeah, im very skeptical. Also, making AND acknowledging that one starter is much better than the others because of typing is sooooo dumb imo.

We NEVER claimed nor pretended to be a "Pokemon Brick Bronze successor." The only thing we have in common with Pokemon Brick Bronze is our composer, Kyle Allen Music. Tales of Tanorio is a passioned project and we do not inspire to become better than anyone else. We just want people to have fun, playing the game and offer our own vision of a creatures catching game. As for the "Pokemon bait" part, Tales of Tanorio, initially Pokemon Metal Malachite suffered from copyright claim from The Pokemon Company and Nintendo. Because of that, the game had to be canceled. Which, in a sense, is a good thing, as it allowed Tales of Tanorio to become even better than how anyone in the team imagined it would. Finally, about the starter's typings, of course they will have things to defend themselves.

If you mean Guardemis - it literally has more weaknesses than anny current tanorian, it's covered by 7 types...

@@KlaranDev im not trying to start problems/fights, i was just throwing my opinion out there. From an outside perspective of someone who doesnt follow the game as much, origionally starting as a pokemon game when it was pretty obvious itd get nuked, then pivoting VERY quickly to a new branding where new things are already moddeled, it kinda looks like you just tried to slap pokemon onto your project to get people interested. Maybe im wrong, but i SWEAR i heard somewhere that the quote involving "Brick Bronze Successor" was said. Maybe it was earlier days of development, idk. The starter thing, i was stating my opinion on, not objectively speaking. If someone likes one starter, they shouldnt be discouraged to choose it. Starters are typically a lot more powerful in games than other creatures, so one being able to easily beat the other 2 immediatly removes uniquness and options. Again, mostly opinion stuff. Not objective in any way.

Aaaaand.... It seems I miscalculated something about that. Nekronsole line will be released in a future patch, not too long after the release, as far as I'm aware. You can replace it with Wattsp or Citress.

i really hope they dont follow in the same footsteps as loomian in the sense of making tons of rare varients of everything, I can picture a game with no varients, where u can actually go for a shiny dex! it seems so beautiful, im praying for no varients at all. rare varient events in these games are bad, community days is the best idea ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
