I like the idea that she knows one of the inquisitors (at least that is what it seems like). That is a premise we have not seen yet.

The animation looks so great. The lighting, or the weather outside. Their really upped their game so much since they first began in 2008.

These are not Barriss’s kind of people regardless of her past actions. Her heart was against the dark side. She doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into. Don’t get me wrong she had a part to play in many bad things esp Vader and proved her point the wrong way. AHSOKA and Luke is honestly the best example of a Jedi.

I honestly wish this was a full-fledged animated show and not just a series of shorts.

I think Barris is acting ignorant on purpose. She MUST have felt the disturbance in the force. She knows something has definitely changed. But she doesn't act that way. She calls the Fourth Sister by her old name, Lyn, then gets corrected. Then mentions the Jedi council, which she also gets corrected for. Then carefully asks what it means for her without asking about anything else. She's treading very carefully.

Remember kids, the side with the better looking uniforms always loose.

Not sure if it’s canon or not but I heard that when Mace Windu and the other Jedi confronted Palaptine in his office in Ep 3, Palpatine recorded it and made it seem like he was just an innocent guy being attacked by the evil Jedi in order to kill him and take over the republic. Most of the Empire had no idea what a Sith even was nor that the Emperor was force sensitive. We see this revelation in the Story Mode of Star Wars Battle front 2 when Luke saves one of the members from Inferno Squad.

This scene and the one right before it of viewing Order 66 going down on the Jedi Temple from a distance were my favorite scenes in Tales of the Empire.

Barriss was always against imperialism. So much so that she became an extremist to oppose it. Serving the Galactic Empire is literally her worst case scenario but its her only option to get out of prison. This is gonna be a good one. If I had one pipe dream wish, its to see Barriss and Saw Gerrera talking tactics in a room together. Both their own brand of extremism opposing tyranny.

I didn't realize the 4th sister was capable of talking.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's first time when Barriss say something in Tales clips.

Most of the Inquisitors were Jedi. Most of them were Padawans. some like the second sister, the ninth sister, and the eighth brother were tortured until they went crazy. others like the fifth brother and the seventh sister surrendered voluntarily. Barris knew the fourth sister (Lynk) as you can see she seems to be wearing Jedi robes and her appearance is somewhat emaciated which seems to indicate that she was caught very recently and presumably tortured by the grand inquisitor towards the dark side. but it is also likely that she gave herself up voluntarily either out of fear, ambition or despair towards the Jedi.

I recognise the voice of the Fourth Sister OMG it’s the same actress that voiced Kate Laswell from the COD MW series

Its looking like Barriss is going to have a character arc rivaling Dooku.

Can’t wait to watch this weekend.

Barriss is wearing the same outfit her master wore in Rebels (or at least the hologram of her wore, all that was left of her at that point was a pile of bones). I strongly suspect that Vader is gonna end up killing Barriss after the end of this. Can’t help but wonder if she’ll end up being another decoration in that room of preserved Jedi they showed us in the Kenobi series.

I do think Barriss will defect from the empire at some point she made mistakes but is certainly not grand inquisitor bad once she realizes the empire is even worse then the jedi she will probably go her own way perhaps at some point making peace with ahsoka and getting redemption for her sins.

I would really like the idea of Barriss going full evil by the end of the series. But we know it isn't going to happen with Disney.
