Morgan is an intriguing character, but personally, I would choose Merrin or Ventress. There would be a similarity to Barriss - they both lost everything. (However, these characters must be opposites, just like Dooku and Ahsoka, so that choice might suggest something.) As for Barriss - Yes finally! She's my second favorite character, and I've been waiting for her for so long. I've noticed references to Barriss in every series, so I suspected the second season might be about her, and I was right. My expectations: Barriss is a character driven extremely by her morality. It's the literal foundation of her character. I hope she won't be indoctrinated into becoming a mindless murderer because that would destroy her morality; so destroy potential. Also that's Dooku's story, as he sacrificed his honor and moral code for Palpatine. I would like her to either desert or be recruited, but not to be broken by the Inquisition, allowing Barriss to maintain her moral code. Obviously, I don't want her to die because I've waited for her for so long. If she were to die, I would feel cheated, especially considering Ventress was brought back to life. Now I have the feeling that something bigger might happen after Bad Batch because there are many plot threads: - Ventress and possibly Vos - Clone Rebellion - Barriss's return and the Inquisition - Gungi and the coming Wookiee rebellion - Even Thrawn and Morgan during the early years of the Empire In my opinion, the next series might be similar to the Clone Wars and be divided into arcs.
