Since no one has actually gotten to this point or beaten the game (not save editted) this hasn't been uploaded yet. This is a speedrun file so I'm relatively underlevelled and I wanted to at least see one of his MAs in the fight.

The reason he goes by Victor is briefly mentioned ingame when you talk to an NPC in the Spirius building. The one who gains the ultimate chromatus status is awarded the title of Victor. Hence why that Ludger is Victor.

Anyway, that aside. This lead up to this fight was the best cutscene in the Tales series imho. Rarely do they ever actually show an awesome choreographed fight scene like that

Man, excellent job defeating him! I got to fight him and although he's incredibly strong, Victor is my favorite boss fight in the Tales series cause of how epic the build up and battle is.

Am I the only one who found this fight to be one of the hardest fights in the game? He always used Physic Restoration which healed for about 25% of his maximum health. This guy gave me grief every time I fought him. That is until I switched to Jude and linked with Milla, then after a somewhat easy, 17 minute long fight, I won with no more Life Bottles remaining, and Ludger dead.

same lol I never really focused on ludger because i liked the original cast more than ludger I just had to use him cause of his transformation

Those swords that you get first off called Father's Swords.....I realize what they are: they are Julius's blades that Ludger gets when you beat him

I know he is why I'm saying he'd make a good persona MC as the va's for them usually voice at least two people at a time. (i.e. P3 MC and Ryoji)

Of course he’s him. Not only do they share the same cooking skills somewhat but also the same fighting style. But not only difference in appearance but also personality. Victor was crazy. Still he didn’t deserve to die. Poor elle😥. Best battle though.

What the hell is with Power Charge? I never use it. Just seems like a waste sitting there. I could get 10-20k damage by the time you finish the final charge. Its not worth the wait

I just fight Victor on Hard Mode in my 1st Playthru and He is an ARMY. I got like 3 Game Over! Dx I mean, when he transform... HOLY SHIT! On Hard Mode he have 400k of HP. T ^T I beat him eventually. ^ ^

A he's hard cause he's You, and B an oh shit discovery lvl grinding was kinda useless my first fight I was at lvl 54 and he was at 57 I get to 57 he's at 60 WTF

on unknown he has 650k. I replayed the game on unknown 2nd playthrough. It wasn't a pretty one that's for sure. I got use to the combo system say the least.

actually, Victor is the title of the strongest Chromatus User. Before Ludger, Bisley had that title, and before Bisley, it was the former Director of Spirius as much as I know. So when Ludger killed Bisley and Julius (Bisley is BTW Ludgers and Julius father, confirmed by the ultimate guide form Japan), he got the new title and used it as his own name, probably to make sure that Elle don't know the name Ludger when she enters prime dimension.

Wait so Victor says he killed Jude, Millia and everyone else etc; Does that mean if Ludger wasn't in this fight, they'd of died again? Lol

Actually, Victor said that he killed off Jude, Alvin, Elize, Rowen, Leia, Julius, Bisley, and a huge number of Spirius Agents.

OMG this fight is so hard! Why is my Ludger so weak? He only takes away 1 hit damage everytime he hits enemies!!!

There's a skill that makes your characters deal 1 damage per hit. You probably equipped it by accident. Make sure to disable it on the skills menu. ;)

healingstaffs OMG I feel so dumb! I had this "skill" minimum damage on! How is that even a skill? I was just switching different characters because Ludger was so weak until I got to this fight! Thank you so much! I finally beat this guy. :D

UchihaSurvivor360 Minimum damage has always been a skill for people that want to practice their combos without killing the thing they're practicing on.
