Tales of Zestiria the X Official Anime OP - Kaze No Uta (from AX 2016 Premiere)

Sooo a day before the anime is officially released, I had the chance to watch the first two episodes of the ToZ X anime on day 2 of Anime Expo and I must say...ufotable and FLOW, YOU ARE BOTH GOLDEN. **If you're going to watch with headphones, LOWER YOUR VOLUME, screaming fangirls/boys ensue throughout the whole video. Tales of Fans, and anyone else just coming into the fandom, you all are amazing. Everyone at the panel was pretty much welcoming of each other whether you've been a Tales fan or you were just getting into it. Been following this particular Tales game since it was released in Japan & the US so I can't wait for what's in store for the rest of the episodes~
**Edit: For those of you wondering if it was the same English VAs from the vid game, yes it is. The only English VA that's different is Lunarre's VA but tbh, he did a pretty good job during the first dubbed episode so I'm sure he'll do a great job with Lunarre :)

So excited about this. I really love the fact that Velvet make an appearance. I wonder how she will appear in the Anime itself. (Back then I was thinking it would be funny if she make an anime appearance in Zestiria because the last thing we see in Game trailer is that she was seen in Thron of Artorius where Sorey fight Heldalf. And now it actually happend that she is in the Anime) I hope Sorey and Mikleo make an appearance in Berseria as some sort of Cameo since Velvet is in Zestiria. Maybe Arena Cameo? :'D

Sorey and Mikleo are too young too appear in Berseria. Berseria takes place 1000 years ago. I wonder if we might see their "gramps".

Tales of Berseria is 100 years before Zestiria but in the Same timeline

I think Berseria takes place a lot further back than that if you look at the material books.

It is not confirmed which era Berseria takes place. But I think it is probably at least a few thousand years ago..

Simon Low Probably more than 3000 years. I need to check the material books again. It lists all the different ages before Zestiria took place. Berseria definitely predates the Asgard Era

how is the dub???Did the origonal cast return?? who is my otp mikleeo and sorey?

They only dubbed the first episode and alisha, maltran, rose, lunarre and symmone have their original english game voice actors. Mikleo and sorey didn't show up until the second episode and that was still subbed. However, I was able to speak to Dezel's VA since he was there for the showing and he absolutely believes that it will be dubbed and he seemed pretty excited about it :)

Mikleo's English VA, Michael Johnston, won't be voicing Mikleo for the dub. Mikleo will be voiced by some guy named Phillip Lamont who for the life of me I can't find him on Google. I'm still searching, but an article speculates that it is Michael since he's using that alias for an upcoming project, but I'm pretty skeptical(like why would they use another name and not his real name, unless he changed it, but I checked his social media and that's not the case). Either way, I'm kind of nervous about his voice.

+flapjackxl I was thinking the same thing. Though I've been hearing from the tales grapevine about how his alias could be due to the union he may be a part of? From my understanding, certain rules/guidelines are placed on the actor when you're in a union and one of them may include not being credited in certain works. So that could be the issue? Not sure, but we'll find out this Wednesday when the first dubbed episode featuring Sorey and mikleo is shown :)
