I agree with you Maam and would like to propose that our mind becomes absorbed and still and when a fitting guru like Sri M talks to a humble devotee, the stilled mind which is also pure simply reflects our true nature of satchitananda and that joy though momentary is supreme

Narendra : Sir, have you seen God? Ramakrishna smiled calmly, and then promptly replied without any hesitation- Yes, I have seen God. I see Him as I see you here, only more clearly. God can be seen. One can talk to him. But who cares for God? People shed torrents of tears for their wives, children, wealth, and property, but who weeps for the vision of God? If one cries sincerely for God, one can surely see Him. Swami Nikhilananda, who refers to the above incident in his book, goes on to add that, Narendra was astounded. For the first time, he was face to face with a man who asserted that he had seen God. For the first time, in fact, he was hearing that God could be seen. He could feel that Ramakrishna's words were uttered from the depths of an inner experience. They could not be doubted.

Hi Krishnan, Nice instance. Here adding one more. If folks feel the above instance is usual norm about explanation of God, One can say the below is a dummies version, no nonsense proof of God shown by Ramakrishna to Vivekananda. Either folks will agree it's true or say fake cooked up story. Can you show me, God?” Ramakrishna asked, “Do you have the courage to see?” The brave boy replied yes. So Ramakrishna just placed his foot on Vivekananda chest and Vivekananda went into Samadhi. He did not come out of it for almost 12 hours and when he did, he was never the same boy again.

Ramana maharishi is the only sage who made spiritualism very simple.....no complexities....simple self enquiry Who am I ?i had read about swami vivekananda...and i still read a page of a small book even now....but i frankly say,we cannot become spiritually developed like swami vivekananda.....by regularly praying,meditating,japa we can change our old bad ways.....but the teachings of Ramana maharishi are profound but simple and easy for a common being to follow......i tried to follow swami Vivekananda's teachings but i found it impossible...only elevated souls can imbibe his teachings into ones practical life....in this materialistic world,its very difficult to come out of selfishness....its an herculean task to come out of all vices....Vivekananda's way is the terribly tough way.....Ramana maharshis way is easy.and comfortable...

I know it's subjective but try reading gospel of Ramakrishna. I personally think his religious instructions were most simple.

I know it's subjective but try reading gospel of Ramakrishna. I think he has made religion most simple. He met people of different types and had taught differently to different people. He had room for shaktas vaishnavs shaivites vedantanists etc. He personally practised Sufism and even Christianity and reaches nirvikalp samadhi. His life story is actually intersting.
