That part where he was talking about how he was sad about his problems to at made me sad. I have autism and had sometimes I think bad about having autism as it gets in the way with a lot of things. Dav glad you turned something out of this and made it something big.

My son just finished 2nd grade and has ADHD and is on the Autism spectrum and is obsessed with the dogman series! He was behind in reading, but he loves your books so much he has been reading them in his free time!!! He LIKES to read them!!! He reads to himself until he falls asleep. Thank you for making these books and sharing your story! They have been a godsend! Reading is so important ❤

Wow, these funny stories actually have a very interesting backstory to it! I think I enjoy Captain Underpants and DogMan even more than I did before!

Dav appears so humble. I actually like that. He appears to be a guy who hasn't let his success or fame get to him and he's thankful for all of it. I imagine in his interview that he might be somewhat nervous but I can just tell that at the end of the day that he enjoys what he does.

I myself make my own comics about a burger superhero but most of the time i am reading Dav Pilkey books. My idea for captain underpants the second epic movie. It's about professor poopypants how is now tippy tinkletrousers is the ruler of a bee hive his plan is to rule the world and kill captain underpants but also Melvin wants to kill tippy for letting him get arrested. Meanwhile gorge and Harold get girlfriends how identical to them. So tippy needs to build the gousy grow 4000 and yuse his army of bees and talking toilets he also makes the robo gorge and the Harold 2000 .also Melvin makes the ice cream cone looking mishen he trys to be a bionic hero boy but it makes him the bionic bouger boy and he built sulu. Gorge and Harold and thar girlfriends build the purple poty to stop tippy from leaving with the bees they fail then they accidently go back in time to 65 million years ago and they rescue krackers from a dangerous tRex . So now they have to stop tippy tinkletrousers and the bionic bouger boy looks like a job for captain underpants.

This is how I become reading Dav books and loving them. I think I was in kinder, year 1 or year 2 and my school have a library and some period. And when me and my class went to the library, my librarian talking to us about, Dav Pilkey. And how he got an idea of captain underpants and he keep on going into the hall and he is drawing when he is in the hall. And I think I am in year 4 or 5, and I remember that day. And I was thinking if I will read his books. So that's what I did and started loving them. (Btw way before of this library stuff, I saw that my big brother have those books, and I don't what they are...)
