Looking into this.. things happen to us business owners for us to learn, grow and for us to learn and help others not go through it and ourselves as well. This is insane I’ve had this happen similar to me. People will copy your ideas and what you have done nothing original

I think is good important for all business owners to use their logo in their packaging because it builds more trust and they will always people stealing things from other business owner.

Hey, I absolutely love you and have been also considering starting my own business but I need to further develop my own style. But I have you to thank for that 💓 So I wanted to extend a thought about this, you do have every right to be upset HOWEVER- I think you’re so upset about this because you have this desire to stand up for yourself and you have been letting it slide. She’s doing the wrong thing, she is being disingenuous with her apology and continuing to walk YOUR path, and you continue to be angry because you know what you know and you are being too nice about it. I think the best course of action is coming through for yourself here. Send her a message and just say: 1- I deserve a public apology given you copied my entire brand and still continue to, as well as reap the rewards for your ideas (send her receipts supporting that point of view) 2- ask her: what are you so happy about with my response? I didnt say I forgave you, I was being polite, stop presuming things of me. (So set your boundaries up properly with this person) 3. Maybe throw some copyright laws at her, and the fact you haven’t exposed her and you think that’s very immature (it isn’t at this point) so that is why you’re giving her the chance to speak publicly on this issue. Maybe ask her thoughts on that as well. (Send more proof to support your thoughts) 4. Send her the link to this video. As well as saying that you have been hurt for too long by her continued behaviour. 5. Offer her an out if she isn’t brave enough to go public with the apology. Eg: Leave your brand alone altogether, don’t follow your socials, keep your ideas out of her eyes ect., ^ this may sound harsh but you deserve to count on yourself here and I truly believe you feel like you can’t because there’s this continuous test and it’s in the form of this person ripping you off and you’re trying to handle it with grace. Boundaries are also acceptable and I think you deserve them.

I am genuinely curious about this: why was it wrong that she copied like the lipgloss colors? Because I am using your colors for inspo but I’m not sure why that’s not ethical…can you please explain? Also, I want to add that I want to make my brand as original as possible like with ingredients, branding, everything. It’s just those colors are so nice!
