You don't need to make a longer Cyclethon to make it better. It's all about reaching the most viewers. I only started watching because it popped up in my twitch homepage in the Pewdiepie day, otherwise, I wouldn't have known it was happening until the last day or not even that. So maybe getting new guests, or adding new challenges to the trip, fun things, idk. You don't need to pass the 14 day mark, is all.

1:57:19 so I went to bed before this part, so lets take about it here. I worked for the company that would build all the Lego miniatures for the parks. Glad you enjoyed it and you did an amazing job, how will top this next year.

Proud of you Connor and the whole team. This Cyclethon was so engaging. I switched my sleep schedule and woke up every day at 1 AM to watch it unfold with a smile on my face. It aligned perfectly with our Easter Break in the UK. The last day was unforgettable. We've raised so much money in that last day I still can't believe it every time I think about it. Rest well now guys, you've earned it. Now that it's over, it feels a bit empty not waking up every night to see another day of the cycle. As such, I will be rewatching the VODS to see it unfold one more time. You're THE GOATS.

When you long-distance ride a horse you don't have it run full-out, you switch back and forth from a canter to a trot. You basically have them speedwalk/jog all day. If they flat-out run too long their lungs start bleeding. You don't run them on the road even for a short distance because it's hard on their joints, could hurt them, and is more slippery on metal horseshoes which means they could fall and snap a leg- any professional horse race you see is run on a dirt/grass track. And also because if you're on the back of a running horse and fall off you want to land on softer dirt instead of concrete so you have a shot at living. Safety-wise you're essentially on the back of a motorcycle 5-6 feet in the air that has a mind of its own, and if it falls and hurts itself in addition to the dangers of falling off a motorcycle there is the danger that if the horse gets hurt it might roll around on the ground and kick in agony, which means it's possibly 1,000 pounds of horse rolling around on top of you and kicking you

For 14 days I watched this incredible journey, as I live in Australia there is only a one hour difference so this stream kept me laughing, crying for. 14 days straight. I broke my arm a couple of days before so the pain for the first few days was a bit much, but watching this got me through, I purchased a hoodies and a couple of shirts can’t wait till they arrive. We saw the true character of Connor, Pete and of course the calfable one, Pete needs to realise he is more popular than he realises, thanks too everyone involved and of course to the legends of chat who kept everyone going.

Honestly, I’m super impressed with Chris. He’s acknowledged this as well but he couldn’t understand how Conner did so much more than just cycle for 2 weeks straight. Scientists should study them both really. Felix is in tremendous shape and was broken after the second day.

I think age plays a factor. But the fact they've both done a bunch of cycling challenges gave them the advantage over Felix, not to mention the diet. Being able to eat red meat helps with recovery tremendously.

Yeah all of that checks out if I stop being stupid and think about it. Our bodies adapt better than we realize and we’re all born with certain advantages obviously. There’s the mental aspect that can’t be ignored though. That has to be conditioned. Inspired af by all of them.

Connor, I think the best thing about your whole stream is when you just hang out w the gang and chat. It doesnt matter much what are you doing specifically but its just fun to be there and hear your interaction w the gang and chat. Personally I think for cyclethon 4 you should half the distance for each day and add more time to interact w the chat and guest. I really enjoyed the time where you go to special places and show us whats there such as the himeji castle or the strawberry farm. Though my personal favourite day was when you go to osaka and just hang out w pete at the end of the day. I think you should also get one of the staff to help you do all of your social during the event and or at least make sure that you got all of your electronic charged up. Especially at the end of the day it must be very hectic and hard to remember whether you got everything done.

I think the balance between cycling and side stuff was pretty good this time. And apart from Garnt, they cycled quite close together, so we got a lot of banter while cycling. Maybe they could take off a few km a day, but the whole point of a cyclethon is to cycle and raise money. People are more likely to donate if they see them putting in that effort and suffering. Pete's idea of giving an ebike to the guests next time might be a good idea, though.

I have to say the overall setup for this one was damn near perfect. Would love to see the drone tech refined for next time but that's kind of a bonus thing anyway. The core camera, mic, TTS and on-screen elements all worked so damn well that it made for a very fun and frictionless viewing experience. I feel that it allowed all the effort that you put into hosting the stream, keeping the energy up, talking to chat, etc to really shine through. Awesome job with this one. Edit: Was also really glad to hear that you made money on this one! Donating your time for charity is all well and good but for the sustainability of something like this it's important that everyone is getting paid for their time and all the costs are being covered so great to hear that as well.
