on a lighter note, I wish to see the engineers are building the cars than the accountants so that we get the properly engineered cars. JD & Vivek you guys are awesome. "Talking car" is the only channel I watch for my kind of interest (having worked 6 years with Mercedes-Benz R&D). The pure auto enthusiasts always recommend your channel and the reason is no cliche, no new-gen words like thecho, powli, loud sound, unnecessary BGMs etc. You guys are not worried about bottle holders, chromes, luggage space etc. It all coming out from your knowledge and passion. Please keep the quality high always.

I had booked a Skoda Kushaq, Red color Mannual, on October 2022, paying the initial amount of Rs 35000 , with the promise that the car would be delivered in 30 days time once the remaining amount is paid. The booking was done at Skoda Kannur Showroom,Kerala. And after 3 months Its past December 2022, they have no clue or answers to the delivery of the car. Later they tried to pressure me to purchase the Top model of the car to avoid waiting. But i was adamant to stick on what i have ordered. I sticked on with base model. But they told me like the base model production is reduced and i will have to wait. But i waited around three months. Meanwhile my EMI started on December even before the delivery of the Car. I was thinking like what’s happening! And the bank officials blamed the Skoda team and vise versa. I hadn’t give any permission or they never informed about disbursement of loan amount. Bank and skoda company blamed each other. And I suffered the loss of my EMI and costed a huge amount of their fucking service charges. And i paid a huge amount for the closing of the loan. So if you wanna book a car with skoda, first you make sure they have the car in stock. Never fall in such scam by the skoda company.

I'm too frustrated that you guys are not hitting 100k fast common, this is class stuff here every day.

Honda ACCORD 3.5 L V6 was the first vehicle in India to have VCM (Variable Cylinder Management). It used to switch between 3, 4 and 6 cylinders depending on the driving conditions. The car also had ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNTS and ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL to ensure smoothness of the engine even while operating in a 3 cylinder configuration. The engine was E10 compatible and the 5 speed automatic transmission had shift holding system. However, I feel the Kushaq 1.5 TSi VCM is a whole lot different from the Honda's VCM in functionality.

Dudes.. im falling short of words to congratulate you enough.. i ve watched most of the kushaq reviews and i must tell you one thing, this one is the best review till date.. you ve told everything that needs to be conveyed.. and lemme thankfully accept the fact that i never knew that the 1.5 engine is mated to a dq 200... no one told so.. many didnt even mention it to be a dsg.. that dq 200 means a lot and will be a deal breaker for many who knows what it really is... And u genuinely said that u dont feel like pushing the brand new car too much..appreciate that attitude pals... Once again hats off for that excellent rvw...

Pros : 1)Minimal input( petrol) and Maximum output, is given from a 1 liter Turbo engine. Speedometer reaches 80km/hr within very few seconds, and no sound at all. A highly refined engine. 2)Drive quality is excellent compared to other cars of same segment engine 3) Premium exterior look. shark-fin antenna, Crystalline LEDs, heavy roof rails, etc 4)Leg room is wide enough. (i hate sunroof and too much of the touch screens. ) so i don't care about it. 5)Skoda sound quality is also very good. 6) When you close the doors and Bonnet lid, you can feel the heaviness. 7) 4 years warranty + 4 years service package for rs 16000/- Cons: 1)seat covers stitching are poorly done 2) A/C has loud noise for the fan 3)side mirror and center mirrors are small 4)all 4 USB's are c-Types 5)No engine cover shield are bottom. it will throw a lot of mud and dirt towards the engine cabin My Decision : "Still i have booked a manual Version of Skoda Kushaq - Ambition"

Power adjustment (seats, mirrors..) with memory setting is one of the most awesome features when there are two driver's in a family.

Can you guys do a video on Run-In Period as some of the dealers say that there is will be no problem in pushing your vehicle during Run-In Period whereas some of them say that you should not drive above a particular speed and don't race your rpm above a certain range. Please do a clarified video on the same if possible to clarify this myths.

The things you pointed out regarding kushaq is so true. Fit and finish is a mixed bag. I was looking for getting one, I felt it’s quality is not that great compared to ongoing rapid/ vento. And omission of 6 airbags in Automatic variants made my decision easy. Looking forward to Taigun now ( hope is less though )

Please mention about the safety features too.... Base varient itself gets all safety features like multi collision breaking, roll over mitigation, differential system, 2 airbags, ABS, ebd, esc, traction control etc....

Surely this is a promising competitor! But with that being said, although cylinder deactivation is good on fuel economy, isn’t it bad for the engine in the long run with there being irregular wear on the motor? Just something to discuss and ponder upon 🍻. Cylinder deactivation was and still is a highlight on the big GM V8s (the Tahoe/Suburban, Corvette).

What about maintenance? Is it costly as usual ?

Excellent review. Got a fair idea of Skoda’s localisation plan: retaining the fundamental German robustness but skimp on certain fripperies, if I am right. Now I shall make a couple of suggestions: do a video on Honda similar to those which you have done on Ford and Toyota. Your coverage of Honda has not been up to scratch, though JD drives a City; and move the camera a little, yank it away from the dash and let us see profile and shots from behind, especially when Vivek is up to some fun at the wheel.

Please use couple of more cameras one focusing road and another showing interior.. while driving when you guys explain, interior camera helps a lot for viewers to understand better .. such an arrangement will be so engaging to watch.. really love how you guys getting even into minute details of the car you review.. very honest review.. didn't leave any single point unattended very good effort..

Its having some sort of sound from the transmission while running in low rpms. Also the gear link engagement is also having some unwanted sound. You could hear it only while running with window glasses open and through a silent atmosphere.
