I finally had time to sit down and watch this and I loved it so much! ❤ I was sitting here crocheting and chiming in about various topics out loud 😂 The cardstock conversation is something I have been thinking about for a while as well and had plans on doing a video about how my opinion om cardstock has changed over the years. Oh, I forgot to say that I kind of didn't really realise there was such a big trend of that kind of pick-a-card readings on KZfaq until I saw this conversation. That makes sense of why KZfaq keeps pushing them at me; apparently the algorithm hasn't got the memo that the communities aren't interested in overlapping (or I'm certainly not, anyway).

This chat was great! Do either of you have any recommendations for books on numerology in tarot?

I’ve only read a handful because to be honest there’s not a ton out there. I saw there was a newer book released just a couple of years ago but I haven’t had a chance to read it. I recommend Tarot Untold, and honestly the guidebook for the Antique Anatomy is fantastic. That’s always the book and deck I recommend to people who want to learn to read more numerological (and pips too!) I hope that helps. 🥰

@@MaterMotelyI’ll add that Tarot on Earth by Tom Benjamin has some lovely numerological and elemental inclusions/approaches but functions as a workbook not solely a read along. I have it and enjoyed the process. So that’s one I’ve read. For one I haven’t, but is on my wishlist and I have a lot of faith in based on other reviews is Finding the Fool by Meg Jones Wall aka 3am tarot. That includes numerological correspondences and is something Meg is pretty passionate about.

Dawn in your opinion where is the best place to learn how to read tarot numerologically and elementally? (Sorry for spelling if wrong) 🙄 I so relate to this conversation especially around the three of swords, and the eight of wands. I really feel that tarot should be read not so much RWS book phonetics. It just has never resonated, which is made it’s so hard to learn over the years. There is just not those resources out there that help to learn in this way to my knowledge.

I haven’t come across a great book on it yet (that doesn’t mean it’s not out there somewhere!) but generally I recommend Untold Tarot. Other than that, I highly recommend the Antique Anatomy Tarot, the guidebook is really approachable. Hope that helps! 😁
