Koreans are so nice in helping out tourists. I went there in 2016. So I was looking for my hotel and a lady did the same exact thing to help me out. She checked her phone and tried her best. And gee, when she figured out the hotel was just like one block away from where we were standing, she was so happy. She also kept on watching me as I approached the hotel from where I kinda yelled "Yes, this is it!". She replied by waving at me and gave her thumb from about 100 meters away! Haha! What an experience in Seoul. Love from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇰🇷😆

I'm Korean and in my opinoin, almost of Koreans are basically good at listening and reading in English, although it's not their native language. However, they are also nervous of speaking. I don't know extact reason, but it seems that they are afraid of making some grammatical mistakes when they have a conversation in English. Even for me, I'm also worried about making mistakes while I'm writing this comment. Anyway, If you go to Korea as a tourist, most Koreans are willing to helping you out when you ask them something you're curious about. I swear 😊

In algerie we love to talk anoyher langeuge even if we get mistakes in conversation, because the piont here is to learne this langeuge, and thats what makeing us learne quikly,

I have been to Korea on July, my first time going abroad and I was backpacking with my aunt. Koreans are really helpful and nice people. I have a couple of time when I lost the direction and they would show me the direction just by saying, "follow me" and in Hongdae while watching performances, I asked questions to the girl beside me and she used google translate to answer. I love the Korean people.

my mom and I went to Korea and I wanna say that although they struggle to speak english (most of them), they could understand you well enough to help you. They are really nice people and so far I wanna go again in Korea.

I really apreciate that socialize with people get to know their culture it s very important for peope for learning a new language and get some knowledge about te people food you have a idea how the country system work when you are doing you can get some benefit or experience for sharing to thepeople in your country for example if you a bussinessman you can find out new thing about business.

Hi Marina, I am currently studying and doing part-time job here in South Korea. Before coming, I thought that most of the korean people would know English so I didn't learn. After coming I barely used my English and ended up learning korean anyway. This video might help others to avoid this kind of stereotype. Good one!! P.S I wanted to come by say hi when you were here but because of my job I couldn't. Hope meeting you one day😊

I already been in Korea and all of this is true! Koreans are so nice to foreigners (oc some of them aren't but it's pretty rare) A grandpa started to talk to me because i was so depressed about the fact i was lost in the subway at 10PM. He helped me to find my way and he said to some teenagers in the subway to take care of me hahahahah :,)

Koreans are so nice! When I was there people not only helped us showing the right direction, they could go with us to the place we were looking for just to be sure that we found the place! I’ve never saw something like this in other countries.

You wouldnt believe how good Korean people's listening skills are. I mean after all they study for this incredibly difficult Korean SAT that tests your comprehension both listening and reading

This is the very useful video that I have been seen recently, we Know Korean people also are hard-working, intelligent and respected. As we see people in the video, we are right our guess. Whenever they are asked, they immediately go to the phone to help ❤️ Surprisingly, their internet speed is so enviable hahaha Im from philippines. That's why we need to learn english to communicate with other pips because we don't have a good internet connection 🤣
