The few 440B I have purchased aren't ground quite as well as the 440A. I think because the people grinding these knives are doing it by memory, so when they get a little tougher steel they have to reprogram themselves. Still better ground than some other brands though.👍

I think there’s a learning curve with the various other steels. They’re getting there but it takes time. As you said still better than many other knives. I think there is also a learning curve for us users. I’ve sharpened a lot of 1095, 420Hc, and 440A. Not so much other steels.

Greetings TC, Mr. Tobias is the reason I started purchasing Rough Ryder/Marbles he open up my interest in my collection. He has shown all his knowledge on traditional knives patterns that an average person can afford to the extent that you may what to look into higher premium price blades. Watching old timers like Mr. Tobias is an honor for me to learn the history behind the patterns of traditional folders.

It's always good to have a traditional pocket knife for light use, specifically in public. Paired with a more modern heavy-duty knife makes a great EDC combination. 👍

Awesome video! Having chats with good customers like this work so well! My Paw Paw used the big old carbon steel Stockmans all the time and that is what helped get me into knives in the first place.

Great video, I think I handled a few of those and was also pretty impressed. I noticed Tobias also mention the centering, which goes back to the quality I was talking to y’all about, how it’s getting just generally better. Looking forward to quite a few of these drops!

Need more Moose pattern love. Two big honkin' blades, both different and I like that they face each other. I like the Muskrat pattern too. Maybe because I'm new to the knife world in general, but I'm just not a fan of Sheepsfoot, Wharncliffe or Spey. Clip point, drop point, spear point, pen blade and skinner are my favorites. Would love to see more single blade options from Rough Ryder. Lighter weight and thinner = better for carrying.

Materials are so-so on my list, except titanium and carbon fiber, but as long as it's done with quality and good fit and finish, it will sell.

As far as "pull" goes what I've heard is that a Victorinox has a consistent 5 pull.

I've ordered two of them (yes with my own money) When I do a videos on individual knives I almost always include a slide show that is about a minute or two long at the end that includes some extreme close up of the knives.

Ocd-4-edc is whom sells the CME (compression made easy) 23:25 that is what he is talking about if anyone's curious... gives a compression lock a button lock feel.

It's truly hard to believe that yall can sell those knives at 16 dollars when they are built that incredibly well! I agree with the gentleman on the 440a RR knives are imo better then the T10 knives overall. You guys are absolutely killing it on these modern traditionals and again for the price... it's hard to believe that you can produce that well built of a knife for 16 bucks!
