I watched the movie, then I read the book and practically as soon as I read the book every thing about the movie was just pushed out of my mind and I pictured the way I would see it all in my mind.......The movie sucks anyway.

I watched the movies first and I actually really liked them. Then I read the book. I think he movie would be good if it were just a movie and not based on the book. If it were its own separate thing, it'd be a good movie. But compared to the book? Not so much.

Facts like it is a good move and it holds the characters well theonly bad thig was they screwed upthe character costumes i think everything else is quite fitting with the book with small details here and there dropped or added.🤷♂️

Jaysen Rouse I think the opposite. They decided to crank up the characters age and establish Percy and annabeths romance.. they’re freakin twelve year olds! Percy wasn’t claimed right when he came, he was in the Hermes cabin for some time. Oh, and don’t even get me started on how they portrayed annabeth, she’s supposed to be friggin blonde! Not only that, she was playing the “dumbed down” girl character, she didn’t even have her Yankees cap! They didn’t even do the encounter with ares and Persephone was in the underworld.. during summer? The movies are a total bust in my opinion. The new series oughta be good.

I watched the movies then read the books and at first all I could see was Logan Lerman as Percy but know I see Percy as Percy not an actor from Hollywood. *Also not hating the actors because they are all really cool.*

First I watched the movies I was like I don't know whether I like it or not I was confused,so my cousin told me about the novels and said try it. It's better than movie. "As long as they're good", well if you actually give the characters backstory, make "Annabeth" more than a weakling who say she's"wisdoms daughter",and make Grover more than a racial stereotype, don't rush through the story in less than 2 hours.
