@@BaldFoodieGuy I don't actually subscribe to your channel, I dip in and out of yours and others if you've been reviewing items I might have purchased or thinking about purchasing, mainly appliances such as Sage, and some of the food items as I'm from a slightly older generation than yourself and also a long career in hospitality. What you earn has absolutely nothing too do with anyone else other than HMRC, yourself and family and possibly if you have one an accountant. The people especially from the UK don't talk about how much we earn, yes you'll have a few anywhere in the world who'll boast about what they have. A late friend of mine always said treat others how you like to be treated. Just keep doing what you've chosen to do with your life, as it's your life to live how you want and whatever money you make you do with it whatever everyone else who earns money from a living do, buy what you want and do what you want with it

Gareth, the Internet can be a toxic place because people feel they can say anything without any comeback. What you do here is a breath of fresh air. My wife and I love watching your videos and don’t care one little bit how much you make - so long as it is enough for you to keep doing what you do I’m sure all your real fans will be happy. Hi Gareth, it's absolutely appalling that there are people out there who will take pot shots at anyone and anything just to make themselves feel better. At the end of the day I beleive it is jealousy pure and simple, small minded people with nothing better to do with their time. I personally watch your channel because it is just that - your channel and I suspect a lot of others do too. You come across as one of life's nice guys with a genuine personality that people warm to, and for some bizarre reason that puts some people out, annoying them to the point of making hurtful and spiteful comments. At the risk of stating the obvious, it's they who have the problem. Don't ever stop being you because it's why myself, and I suspect the vast majority of those who subscribe to your channel, look forward to your content.

I agree. I have a small channel and I'd love to make a bit of cash from it but it's not going to happen as I don't want to show my face so I'll never get the subs and just do it for fun. Brilliant of you can earn money from it just like any job. I don't understand why people have an issue and it's not like it's Mr Beast with his millions. Fair play to anyone that can make a living or just a bit of extra cash from something they enjoy doing.

I use to make food vids. Very hit and miss if got views. If you find a niche. Happy days. It's not easy to try and do vids daily. Let alone the sad backlash, people get. That can annoy. Upset.. in the end. If its working. Selfishness is key. Stoicism does exist!!. Long live baldy 😁

Hi Gareth. You might recognise me as i frequently comment on your videos and you often reply. I unexpectedly lost my wife last week and it's videos like yours that have been helping me cope with the trauma of it all, by taking my mind off it all. The fact that you have felt you've needed to make this video saddens me. If you can make a living out of KZfaq then why not. I have learnt that you do what you can to survive and support yourself and your family in this world. How much you earn is your business and no one else's. Please keep up the good work and the humour. If people don't like any aspect of you or your videos they don't have to watch.

Very sorry for your loss mate. Same happened to me in 2017 and I was totally lost, back then I watched anything to take my mind off things when I was alone and KZfaq was a great help. God bless you and take care. Those we've loved and lost are in a much better place than we are these days 🫶🫶👍👍

I've been watching KZfaq close to 15 years maybe more, and retired self employed window cleaner of nearly 30 years. Never been in the armed forces or the emergency or the medical field god bless you all. I am an absolute mess due to my personal life with depression and anxiety, My job and KZfaq saved my life back then, and KZfaq still does. I have seen it all on here and know about those stupid videos talking crap. You are a legend Gareth and your videos help me. The genuine public are there for each other and will always will be. In a world of such hardships that many are going through there's always going to be those that "want" but choose not to make any effort to achieve. Your doing what we all could do if we wanted but not all want to. It's "your time and effort" making the vids (which are very helpful) . You've saved me a few bob and you earn a few bob for your time. Keep doing what you do well for your family, blank those that don't make better use of their time. 👍

I gave up normal tv a few years ago, and I now only use it to watch KZfaq videos from subscribers who I have a genuine interest in. Yours is one of a few who I always tune in to, and I find you to be the most honest and probably the best food review channel there is, and I look forward to every new video. I also like Stockybloke too, he's another genuine bloke who I can relate to. This is an interesting video, and I can understand why you did it, although it makes no difference to me how much money you make. Just keep making these informative videos and people like me will keep tuning in....cheers 👍🏻

Gary it is no ones business how much you earn, you are educating many on youtube about what processed foods to avoid, you are a good decent guy totally honest about what you like and dislike, total respect to you mate, a lot of people are just plain jealous, I have been through enough in life to harden up, you are doing what is best for you and your family and it is no one elses business. 👍👍👍👍👍

I have zero interest in anybody else's finances, it is nobody else's business. I watch because you are entertaining and showing us different foods available. We are going to Burton in Kendal at the weekend and thanks to one of your videos we are planning to visit the butty wagon on the A590 and also visit to Walney Island. up same here. given how stretched budgets are these days,it's always good to see if these "value" supermarkets can actually measure up. nobody's expecting savoy silver service, but the occasional nugget of a really nice product that doesn't cost a fortune is ace.

I saw one video about how much you earn. It looked crazy, it sounded crazy, the Maths was just beyond crazy. What you earn is your business. If you earn a million pounds a video great, shame it's only a million. Your videos are informative and fun. You've built a great community here. Keep your head up. I love the products you review cause it's all shops that I go to and your takes are amazing mate. Wow I can't believe I'm seeing this.....no one else's damned business ! There are too many people on here (ie KZfaq not this channel) minding other people's business instead of their own. Some of them call themselves reaction channels, stealing other people's content and making money in the process, whilst criticising and mocking the person they've stolen it from. Makes my blood boil. I've been watching you for a while and not really commented. One of you videos popped up one day on my home page and I just started watching because you seem very genuine and a bit funny, I don't even eat meat or processed food I like to cook from scratch. I just watch because it seems like you enjoy food and it passes some time. I've never thought about you getting paid for youtube so if you are good for you and keep it up.

That’s why people (myself included) watch your content you’re a very real person. I watch videos of you reviewing meat products and I haven’t eaten meat in over 10 years. You keep doing what you’re doing, I think it’s so rude people asking what you earn. Non of their business.
