@@survivalofthefittest5654 Last year i bought tata manza (sedan version of vista). It is even bigger and luxurious than some tata cars today. Very good perfomance and all. But i end up selling it because of frequent issues. Very often electronics issues, lower arm issues, mileage, ac issues, allignment issues and all. Also very expensive to maintain.

Am a diesel head. Using an second hand diesel beat since 2016.using fully syn and regular oil checks before each rides.best companion for long and short rides. Gives nyc milege as well as comfort. Service only once in 2 yrs or wen it clocks 7.5k.such a value for money car

@@vighneshs416 Zen is incredibly cheap to buy and to own, there is no complication to repair and most parts are available in market. The car is pretty reliable and can take abuse. Mechanical parts might be a bit difficult to find, buy are available in plenty as scraps which again is cheap. My car cost me 40k in 2015and had invested 20k for first reregistration. It was completely submerged in 2018 flood, still brought back to life rebuilding completely and is working just fine and let me add that there was not even a single spot of Rust even when it took me over a year to clean and rebuild the car from scratch. and the repair cost was just 35k(with new paint job, a lot of new hardware parts and mechanical parts). Now i have re-registered it for second time and passed the RTO scrutiny and pollution test without any issue. you can get a Zen for prices as low as 30,000(carburrated ), but might have reached end of registration period, so will have to spend a 10-20k for repairs and registration. I would say its better to get the prefacelift MPFI zen, which is re-registered recently that you can get around 60-70k. Those are better in every aspects

Our family car is a 2004 zen since 2019. I dont personally like it because its giving me backpain after driving for more than like 30 minutes, but my brother loves it, I dont think he will agree to sell if even if we got a better car...

Think you missed the Indica Vista around 2010. Think it's a good choice. Quadrajet engine, enough legroom, decent driving experience.

The Ford Fiesta is my preferred car too but with them exiting India, would it be a smart choice to buy one of their cars? Would the spare parts cost a TON and will there be support for after sales service? Also a video on checklist of items before buying a used car and where to buy used cars from will be very much appreciated.

1Lakh price budget obviously a good choice will be 1st Gen Mahindra Scorpio. Perfect utiliteren purpose .Excellent diesel motor with easy to maintain surprisingly cheaper aftermarket parts Go anywhere character.Stylish.Easy to mod. Powerful too😍

Just got my 20 year old Zen fitness certified one week back. Never had a breakdown till now. Done 2.20 lakhs kms, as smooth as new still. No thought about selling too, though I have another newer car.

What I felt is that even if you look these cars on OLX especially corolla n all.. The sellers demand more than 2 lakhs which is really catastrophic...I had a plan on buying a car within 1.5 lakhs.. But the problem is the sellers are asking too much for the cars..

Under 1 lakh best diesel would be a Vista. Its most comfortable car in bumpy roads and spacious than a nexon. Missing my old Vista that can take hammering from two wheelers and autos in kochi and go by waving to them. Since it was having a lot of scars the intimidation level is comparable to an suv like fortuner.

Just nitpicking the already great list ! 1. A star the ugly cousin of estilo (nope I don't like the zen badge) had an automatic transmission too 2. HM Ambassador. As a different purpose vehicle the suspension can be jacked up and used as a load carrier. Seen such a car ! 3. Tata Sumo/ Mahindra Bolero (Old Di ones are classy) Logan had a 1.4 and 1.6 petrol, rare ones. The wiper wasn't single but an inverted one sweeping right to left. Cheers guys ✌️
