These folks deserve monuments, deserve adulation, and to be respected and honoured for their great contributions to humanity, and to the truth. What a waste....

We think only within a restricted frame. Yes, peak oil is here already and yes if nothing replaces what oil does for us we will have big problems sooner than later. Nikola Tesla found unlimited sources of free energy. The answer to this energy shortage is likely to come from the Schumann cavity. Not used now as JP Morgan said to Tesla "If I cannot put a counter on this, I am not interested"...

Just having watched COLLAPSE.....i know want to do as much as possible to get others to understand where our world is heading. Very eye opening and confronting information. At the same time it is also very logical and realistic.

@darkultra To bad your battery was charged with oil and then made out plastic. Each tire for a small car takes 7 gallons of oil to make it. All of the insides such as your dash are plastic or rubber (oil). All the insulation for all the wiring in your car is made form oil.

Peak Oil is the second problem, Peak Credit will be the first to collapse the U.S. economy.

Peak Oil does not mean running out of oil. Don't let a naysayer tell you that. There's still a well in Shanksville, PA pumping out 1-2 pints of oil per day. Peak Oil means the end of cheap oil ie further resource scarcity and in turn higher prices. Those higher prices are what can collapse an entire global economy.

Check out the book by Dmitry orlov called inventing collapse... it not only shows in simple language and explanations how we arrived at this point by comparing the US collapse to the USSR, he also presents what it will look like based on examining and witnessing post collapse USSR, and gives genuine unique and practical insights into our current situation. I highly recommend it if you want to get informed,and be able to inform others.

When a group of people get together to work on something, it's true that they are "conspiring". However, a "conspiracy" (the way I've understood it, and as the dictionary on my computer defines it) only occurs when a group of people get together (read: conspire) to commit a crime. The rub is, in the case of 9/11, it doesn't matter who we think did it, if we point a finger at anyone, then we have a conpiracy theory. We're just haggling over who were the conspirators.

@yoctocb My good friend, we cannot underestimate the dilemma Western Civilisation will have on its hands when oil reserves (discovered or undiscovered) run out. Also natural gas is used as a raw material in industrial manufacturing of ammonia.

If it's true, then I guess we have a bit more time than we thought. But remember what he said about it taking 30 years to change an energy infrastructure? Wouldn't it be wise to put all that energy into making a renewable energy infrastructure? It'd take over thirty years worth of oil, but when that oil did finally run out, the results won't be as catastrophic. But try to convince big business that that's a good idea.

This is why we should be implementing the Venus Project. Even if you don't like it, you have to admit it would be better than where we are headed.

I heard that interview on Alex Jones also and the follow-up today. Scarcity and abundance are constantly being manufactured. Think of all the lost revenue for the states in taxes since prices have fallen making them more dependent on the Fed. This is also a means to control those with oil-based power such as OPEC (they're goin broke), Chavez in Venezuela, and Putin in Russia.

The National Oil and Gas Assessment shows oil all over the US. The oil companies stated that we are sitting on about 1 trillion barrels of oil in the US. The reason we aren't drilling is all political... Ask the Democrats why we aren't drilling...

Diesel combustion engines can run on hydrogen. At least for a short while, I dont know if it would wear out and destroy the engine after long term use. They proved it on mythbusters.

Really? Can you please cite references that prove these reserves, because I've not heard of these. Aren't these shale and other deposits that would take years to be marketable and never produce at a level that would make up what we lose from conventional sources? And there's absolutely no way we can ignore this. Even if there were limitless supplies of oil - their aren't of so many other resources we've already used up. Too many people, too few resources.

Here's why: Columnist David Corn has also criticized Ruppert's methodology, and dismisses the idea that conspiracy theorizing is useful: "In fact, out-there conspiracy theorizing serves the interests of the powers-that-be by making their real transgressions seem tame in comparison."
