Every year hundreds of Australian painters submit their entries to the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney to go into the running for the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman prizes. On 3 April 2019 Maria Stoljar intercepted 11 artists handing over their paintings and asked them about their work.
