What do you think about asylum seekers refusing hotel accommodation?

I'm an elderly lady was homeless for 10 years, no one ever offered me a hotel not even for one night, these ungrateful young men are a disgrace!

Notice how it’s always young men. Never women and children.

I couldn't afford to pay to stay in that hotel for a week. I am 71 and paid taxes etc since I started work at 16 till retirement. British tax payers are right to be up in arms about this disgrace. Well done Richard Tice.

How dare these migrants come over here and think that they’re deserving of special treatment!. When we the taxpayers are supporting them, it’s sickening!! 💯🤨

There should be a ruling; that NO migrants entering the country by illegal means, will NEVER be granted leave to stay, or residency. That would take out the processing time; they would have to leave. More importantly it will put off those in the pipeline and break the traffickers.

My husband and I (BRITISH TAX PAYERS), who have worked all our lives (untll the last 2 years where we have both suffered ill health in our late 50's) spent the whole of winter with NO HEATING and very little food, sometimes only eating hot food once a week. wearing nearly all the clothes we own just to keep warm. Perhaps these people would like to swap with us!? We could do with a holiday. I am FURIOUS about this honestly.

I've done without food for days so to watch this and knowing that the Government will be at their beck and call and give all they ask and more. He's living in one of the wealthiest parts of London and he's complaining, he's supposed to be a desperate refugee who's ran away and had to leave his family behind to seek shelter from imminent death or torture and he's moaning about a bit of smell and a small bathroom.

I watched a documentary some time ago regarding children given a new life in Great Britain during and after the War. They were SO grateful then and still remain grateful today. What a difference to those arriving ILLEGALLY now. This is a disgrace.

People are working all hours to just keep their heads above water and put food on the table . Pensioners and the disabled couldn’t afford to put their heating on in the cold weather and buy food as well. Someone managed to get into the foyer of one of the migrant hotels in winter and the heating and lighting were full on - I bet you many pensioners would like three meals a day, spending money, free phones, TV or wi fi and no worries. The majority of these pensioners worked all their lives paying into the system and yet we have the lowest pension rates in Europe. We have thousands of homeless on our streets (many through no fault of their own) and veterans who fought for this country and risked their lives fighting in the country this man actually comes from! This is an utter disgrace and as we sit here debating this in the current fine weather, hundreds are landing on our shores every single day, or escorted in by Border Force or the RNLI, some from French Waters ! Maybe it’s time the British Taxpayers go on Strike too, says enough is enough and stops paying council tax on mass until this fiasco is sorted out - period. Also why did Serco get a multimillion £ contract in 2020 to oversee asylum accommodation (WHICH RUNS FOR 10 YEARS!) if the government intended to control our borders and reduce immigration as they promised in Brexit?? Enquiring minds have to ask …….

The government could stop this overnight by calling a state of emergency which means we could turn them back and stop giving serco these long contracts to house them in . Did these migrants not share a tent in France then ?

On the way to work at 5 in the morning I see tens of homeless people lying on carboard and newspapers around Euston and Kings Cross. It's a shame that the government hasn't got any international obligation to house them. The asylum issue has made me realise that there is no plan to address the situation, no one is in control. The government is quite prepared to see Britons disappear in a sea of never ending migration from Africa, the middle east and southern Asia, because addressing it would require statesmen with strength, courage and wisdom...such qualities are no longer found in British politics.

This has been going on far too long now. I’m just sick to death of just watching and listening to what is going on. It’s time to take action now! Two years and illegals still haven’t been processed . It is utter madness!! You couldn’t make it up! Doesn’t matter who you vote for, they are all the same. As they say actions speak louder than words!

Free accommodation, free heating and hot water on demand, 3 meals a day. What is not to like?? I could only wish ...

When I worked for immigration in Kent a guy who was put in detention instead of a local B and B said he was fed up and wanted to be sent home. If they were in fear, they would be happy to be away from it. That video of you , with them is the best !!

That Asylum seeker has lived in a London hotel paid by taxpayers! Instead of being grateful he is moaning! He could have a criminal record back in Iran! Why is he here anyway? I listened to one asylum seeker on the BBC radio a few months ago. I think he was in Wiltshire, can’t remember now. But anyway, he said ‘it’s really boring here, there’s just fields and a golf course and I’m getting depressed’ 😆 no word of a lie!!! Someone needs to find that clip.

We have the same problems as england, and many of all of us are furies that our goverment throws our good money for these people who come uninvites in our country and squander our hardly earned money which we had worked hard for. This is a great interview; I can believe this immigrant not working an unappreciative for two years and a complainers , remains me of a woman in the borders of U S and México : she was coming from Honduras and people in the México borders give her refrying beans and tortillas and she was complaining that that was old she gotten; she went viral.eventually she got deported in us .for peace disturbances and a felony.some just wanted to suck the system.

it's sickening when we have actual people born in this country, yet are homeless? I remember a story last year of a guy born here who was sleeping outside a takeaway because they used to give him the leftovers of the food, poor bloke died in the streets and was found with his dog trying to keep him warm, it is disgusting to see these people be put up in hotels and given free food, phones, clothes etc, then have the nerve to complain about the size of his free hotel room, it makes me sick to my stomach!

The problem with asylum seekers who, from the get go, are unappreciative of being lodged and fed ( yet won’t go back home ) is that if they do get permanent residency in the U.K. they will never be appreciative and may not even want to be a productive member of the society that has enabled them to better their situation.

The same thing is happening here in Belfast, immigrants were complaining that the food wasn't good enough and that they were bored, surely that's a small price to pay for someone claiming they're in dire need of safety?

There's a immigrant and his family been living near where I live for 7 years not allowed too work flat fully furnished he had brand new Mercedes just been given 3 bedroom house whilst in the flat 1.000 pounds a month electricity gas and water bills all paid for although not allowed to work went out 5 days weekly 8 till 5 makes you wonder 🤔
