In WW2, my dad joined the army here in the UK, in 1939 when he was 19. We sadly lost him in 1995, when he was 75. My mum was 61 when my dad died. She said that my dad told her, that during the war, if he had to travel by train, he made sure he didn't get in a carriage if one woman was in there, on her own. He didn't want to be accused of anything he didn't do - that was from 1939 to 1945. Things don't change, as there are TWO sexes - sorry to dampen your woke beliefs, far left, but it's a true fact - there are only TWO sexes. We need to be honest and real, men in dresses should NOT go into women's changing rooms, toilets or prisons.

The other day when I went out to lunch and a trans woman was sitting behind me - I wanted to go to the toilet but decided to wait until I got home in case they came into the toilet! When i was in junior high i didn't charge my clothes in front of other female students. I changed in the single bathroom. That was in the 70s. I valued my privacy.

In the Scottish Borders a few months ago a man dressed as a woman picked up a young girl and keeped her hostage and sexually abused the young girl over s few days..The brave young girl managed to find the landline in his house and called for help.I believe the young girl wouldn't have got into the car if he was dressed as a man but with him being dressed as a woman she must have thought she was safe.That girl will never be the same again with her ordeal..

When will there be a proper demonstration for this? We must show our solidarity for the nurses, and all people against this madness, without fear.

When i did my adult nursing placement at the hospital they had unisex changing rooms/showers. As I have noticed 90% of changing rooms users were men including me. Around 10 %of all were women who always just tried to hide around the corder made out of lockers just to get some privacy.I really felt sorry for them that they had to do that and get changed while us men were in the same changing room. You should see in what speed these women used to get changed just to minimise the risk of being exposed.

I am a woman who has suffered years of sexual abuse by three different men in my childhood (6-17) and struggled with intimacy my whole life. NEVER could I go and see a male gynaecologist. And in this sick world I would have to be subjected to this, how depraved have we become as a society. So many women have suffered extreme trauma like this and there is nothing to protect their basic intimacy. This is a calculated attempt to denigrate women and to bring back their basic human rights into the Stone Age.

A born biological woman who identifies as a woman, should have the same rights to be offended or feel threatened as someone who identifies as a transgender woman, who was born a biological man. I will not use a public toilet or changing room which allows this, or take my children into this sort of facility. That is my right. I hope I have used the correct terminology in this post, as I haven’t a clue what terminology to use without offending someone! (I am not phobic about any race, gender, religion etc I just believe in equality across the board not just for people who feel they have more rights than anyone else).

Retired OR nurse. If someone who isn't a woman is changing in the changing room, tHEy have a locker. assigned by the head nurse who was told to do so by hospital administration. If this is ok then they shouldn't mind the nurses telling patients and their families this is the hospital policy. If there is any pushback, just say you didn't want any girls old enough to go to the restroomby themselves, 12-13 years old being terrified and running out screaming for their mother. That gives you CYA and the admin can explain to the dads why this is such a great idea, especially after dad goes running in and punches trAnnie in the face.🤣

My changing room is tiny for the number of women using it in a big department : the back wall is two loos and a shower cubicle, the front wall is all lockers and the entrance, if I touch the lockers and spread my arms I can nearly touch the loo door, so not very wide, both side walls taken up with coat hooks and more lockers. Some women use the shower room to change anyway, for modesty. If it is busy at shift change times, you have to wait or ask someone to move, to get to your coat hook or locker. If a man was in there, in his boxers you would turn around and find yourself backed up against a penis. Or bend down to tie your shoe laces and come up face to face with a penis. There will be mass complaints if a man starts using our change room.

There are currently two separate spaces for males and females, and I think it should be required by law even funded by the government to have now always three separate spaces so that one can be either in the male one or the female one or the transgender of either sort one.

i was a nurse for 48 yrs and in the late 1970s i worked with a night sister who was trans gender i suppose in those days it was just the beginning of trans surgery anyway she was not a good nurse lacking empathy and did not like children at all and liked to talk about her sex life of course they all wear scrubs today is there no changing cubicles surely there must be as some cultures would prefer this

What happened to consent? Society has accepted rules and biological men who identify as a woman do not have biological women’s consent to enter their private spaces. If trans women feel unsafe to enter a man’s private space eg toilet, change room what do they think biological women feel when a biological man enters their private space. Don’t biological women deserve to be protected?

I always go to the toilet before I go out because l don't want to risk going in the cafe/ restaurant. A couple of places l frequent have the loos in the basement 😮 no way would l venture down there. If one of my daughters go to the toilet when we are out l'm on tenterhooks until they come back. It says a lot for the toxic world we now live in when you have to stand guard outside a toilet..

Having worked in a mainly female environment we had a shared changing roo for years. But it was the men who suffered. One went to an office to change and the other would wait outside if women were there
