Donations to Harry and Meghan's Archewell Foundation have dropped by $11 million in the past year, leaving the nonprofit in debt.
The donations reportedly came from just two individuals, raising concerns about public support. The foundation has also faced lawsuits and negative perceptions in Hollywood.
The decrease in donations comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a promotional video showcasing their foundation's work. The one-minute montage shows Meghan hugging people, volunteering at a pop-up baby boutique she staged for expectant mothers experiencing homelessness, and surprise-calling a young entrepreneur alongside Harry.
It comes just hours after a video was released to mark the Princess of Wales' trip to volunteer at a baby bank in Holyport. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis joined their mother to fill festive bags with donated goods.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond tells TalkTV’s Mike Graham that “it is one more attempt to upstage the Wales' - and it doesn’t look good.“

I wish some of these commentators would do actual research. We the public have done our own research, uncovered actual truth & don't need to be dumbed down to by 'professionals' that try to put a happy spin on their reporting. How about trying for unbiased, researched reporting. The difference between Catherine and Meghan/Harry is that Catherine goes to a charity to help them, giving them the royal spotlight, not asking for any money, indeed possibly donating herself whereas H&M go out to promote themselves, their own charity and no doubt asking for all expenses to be paid when they do. In 2022, female population for Nigeria was 108 million persons. Over the last 50 years, female population of Nigeria grew substantially from 29.8 million to 108 million persons rising at an increasing annual rate that reached a maximum of 3.09% in 1980 and then decreased to 2.39% in 2022. Actually most of what they did was photo ops. They piggyback onto the ongoing work of actual charities and claim Archewell did the work. In my opinion these listed hours are probably the work done by volunteers of the actually charities that Archewell leeches onto. No way did the Markles come close to working this much. Yes, and this is the thing with the real royals and their support of charities, it is an ongoing thing. The point with the two grifters is, they dip in and out, a quick donation and then nothing heard again of them. Why didn’t they start a foundation or get Archewell to fund with donations continuously to keep on supplying the women and girls in Nigeria, it is the long game that counts, not the short sharp, look at us how wonderful we are, 5 minute do gooding.

It's interesting that with an initial 'donation fund', coming mainly from 2 donors, in the first financial year they raised $50,000 themselves, and given out dribbles of money here and there... They've scratched the surface here and there with 'intentions', 'support', measly Starbucks give vouchers and possibly a minor donation of actual money from time to time, but mostly they've been taking credit for others' efforts, and most of the Foundation's fund has disappeared into their own pockets, and the pockets of the few people they employ. (Someone went to investigate the actual office once and found it manned by a single receptionist...) There's no such thing as coincidence where the Sussexes' 'releasing statements/pictures/videos' is concerned, they always, but ALWAYS try to grab headlines away from the King, the Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal - but mostly the Prince & Princess of Wales, and especially HRH Catherine the Princess of Wales. The 'brand Sussex' smells to high heaven, and to put it more succinctly and accurately, anyone will be tainted by association with Meghan, NOT the other way around!

For exemple that playground construction in Uvalde, that's the work of the KaBOOM organisation. Plus, in their "charity" video, they put that in as if it was their work. That means, they took advantage of this to claim all her expenses for her photo-op at Uvalde, including her private jet and camera crew, etc, as "charity work". And that was in 2022!

Bottom line - the negativity and toxicity started with the marriage to Katie Keene Markle. Prior, HRH Prince Harry appeared happy, a life full of family and old friends as well as he was the most loved royal. The moment she got her claws into him it was like he joined a cult - the cult of Moaning Victimhood Markle. And, based on Tom Bower's book - she always threw the victim card when she didn't get her way or wanted something since childhood. Fast forward, what Katie Keene Markle has still not learned is that victimhood is no longer playing. And, if the rumors are true, and she is writing her memoir to tell her side of the story and explain the racism in the BRF - she has learned nothing. Her need for revenge is greater than her need for success. The woman should take time off, step back and get help. My opinion!
