Guess TalkTV isn't always a leading voice in morality. I for one don't believe in alien sightings, but people are entitled to what they believe, and when you invite someone on your show, as long as what their talking about isn't harmful or teaching bad lessons, it's just cruel to slander them in a public setting like this.

These presenters never gave this gentleman a chance. It would of been nice to listen to him and what he had to say. It might of started a logical debate on the phenomenon, which is truely fascinating. Its the oldest trick in the book and media have been using it for years. Diverting the subject and mock, to make this gentleman look like an idiot.

James Whale does have a bad habit of insulting people who come on his show, he was ok in the 1980's, I think he knows he has nothing else to say and just goes straight into attack mode because it's easier than trying to be constructive.

Let people hear what a person has to say and then they can make up their own mind.They invite a guest on the show and then attempt to humiliate him. Really nasty.

James's job is to criticise and identify information asking questions that lead to more of an understanding of the subject. However he did no such thing what he actually did was mock and belittle the guy. As if James's opinion was already set. I was rather interested in what they guy had to say. After which then criticise his book or quote him back so we are far better informed. James was very unprofessional and judgemental before we as an audience could understanding his observations and make up our own minds.

I came home tied and was given a cuppa by a little man from space. I took a sip and said eee tea.

We all know its part of the show for James to play up to the camera's playing the rude obnoxious character, but this man was invited onto his show and even if James didn't believe a word he said he should have given his guest a chance all the way through to explain what he believed to be true, even if at the end he said to the guest I just don't believe this. I like James not that he cares less if people like him or not, but he has to let people talk and stay to the end, unless otherwise whats the point.

I was on the James Whale show back in 92. We were promoting a play called House of Dracula and the week before Julian Clairy walked out offended by James. At the time on the show my makeup was like an Egyptian emperor/God whatever, and James said to me during the ads that Julian had walked off the week before. After the break James sat next to me saying to camera "look everyone Julian's back after saying he would never ever come back on my show." I was a background guest and a budding actor at the time but froze up when live TV came back on. Who knows now looking back maybe that was my big opportunity to do a Clairy impression...alas my acting career came to naught much after. The main guest that night was Gary Glitter and look what happened there😱

Whale has been hosting shows for 40 years, so every guest knows what they are getting with him. They're ok with going on his show, for a bit of free advertising, but they don't like it when they get a bit of stick from him. Grow up ffs. James is a radio legend for good reason.

Why is it that commentators insist on inviting guests that interest viewers, only to ask them a question, then rudely talk over them so no one can hear the answer!! Not the way to attract viewers at all. I suggest people listen to Shaun Attwood who covers many subjects this being one of them. Where guests are allowed to be heard!!

The guests needs to man up! either give back as good as you get OR stand up and tell him to where to go in no uncertain terms. Don’t ever try to play the victim. And this is from a 100% believer who’s had some ufo experiences.

One afternoon when I finished school, I noticed that instead of going home the kids were standing in a crowd and I saw they were watching an object hovering above the perimeter of the school grounds. it was a mettalic disc shape and the only feature on it was a row of lights moving from left to right along its enter line, it was a nice sunny afternoon so I don't know if they were lights and although the object was metallic. Looking there was no noise from it. A balloon or a helicopter never keep letfe tly still when they hover but the disc was as if it was fixed in the air, it never moved the tiniest fraction. After a few minutes it suddenly flew away, in those days no one carried cameras but if I had taken photos sceptics would have said they were fake even though they wouldn't have been. I was amazed to see something people say doesn't exist and after all these decades I still often think about it.
