We were not poor until we contracted a parasitic infestation 3 years ago. Several doctors have recognized it as a textbook clinical presentation of a parasitic infestation. The doctors follow the standard of care and refer us to infectious disease specialists. Infectious disease specialists have informed us that we can't get parasites if we have not left the country even though we are farmers. They do not even bother doing an examination all the while gaslighting us in the most condescending tones.
