We had this brutal game in school where you have to spin a coin and then you and your opponent take turns giving it a little flick to spin it more, and who lets the coin fall loses. The punishment for losing was to put your fist on the table knuckles down and the winner shoots the coin at your knuckles (like make a tripod with your thumb, pointer and middle finger, the coin is under the thumb and you launch it forward). Needless to say, almost all the boys' knuckles were wrecked all the time

i did this as well at school... in the end we would not even spin we would just try and ping it as hard/fast as possible to make marks on our knuckles 😵‍💫 i did get told off, and the boys got told off and were told not to be such a bad influence on agirl... (i was the one who suggested it after seeing another group doing it!)

If it makes you feel better, most Lucky Rabbit's Feet are fake. And if you get a real one, the rabbit didn't die solely for the foot.

Some more facts about Ren's luck in the Hardcore series he did with a rabbit foot 1. After getting it not 5 minutes later he found his first village, then finding 2 more in the same area 2. Survived the raid even tho he was on the verge of dying (and he used a totem if I remember right) 3. Found like 3 mineshafts linked together (basically one gigantic mineshaft) 4. Found multiple God Apples And there was more but I forgot... but how much more proof do you need? Lucky Rabbit's foot is the OP item Ren proved it

If Iskall is shocked by a rabbit's foot, wait till someone tells him about the kangaroo testicles bottle opener. This little extra content vids where it's hermits hanging out and chewing the fat is always a joy. It brings back memories of the podcast Iskall and Ren used to do where they just chatted. The BBQ one and Ren talking about his death trap apartment probably being my favourites. 😆

On the topic of watches being a waste of money, yes they absolutely can be, and in most cases they are. However 5 years ago i bought a Leijona 5012-2361 watch for 60 euros and ive been wearing it daily ever since. Its really nice to be able to know the time without having to take out your phone for that.

The rabbit foot debate is so real for me. As someone who spent 30+ yrs on the west coast of Canada, that wasn’t normal. But having lived (still currently do) in the remote North of Canada (NWT) where the lands are still traditionally owned, mine by the Dene, the culture shock was huge. So people wearing their hunting trophies is normal. My kids learned how to trap in school (not that we personally ever will). So this whole conversation was almost like I was there. lol. I love how real these videos are. Time zones aren’t nice, so I don’t get to catch much live.

I would watch many more episodes like this 😂 As a kid, i used to pick up ladybugs and watch them walk on my hands, play with leaves and make sandwiches and then crush it all into power before we had to go, we also used to play a game called as kabaddi, its very popular in my country and we played it until a kid fractured his arm. Then we were banned from playing on school grounds after school time, they added cctv cameras and we used to go there and try to avoid cameras like they do in heist movies 😂 good times.

The thing is, rabbits are borderline invasive here. They were introduced by the Romans and they need population management in the form of hunting. (When the pandemic was at its height, this town where my great-aunt lives didn't get any rabbit-hunting tourists and all the smallholders living there were having real problems trying to keep up with all the rabbits.

To further horrify you about the whole lucky rabbit foot thing, I’m pretty sure either my brother or I had one when we were little bc we got it when we went to a place called Pioneer Farms where it’s supposed to be like pioneer times and you learn stuff and get to pet some animals too and do hands on things. It was a fun place! But yeah, I guess it is odd, the whole rabbit foot thing. It just never occurred to me 😅 im pretty sure my brother had the rabbits foot and I had a rabbits pelt and we were kids and those were in the souvenir shop of this place so idk what to tell you. Maybe that’s an American thing to have it be more commonplace?

We used to play a game called uh, well. I guess I can’t really say it now? “Smear the queen” But it wasn’t Queen. Anyway, you’d throw a football up in the air as high as you could, and the person who caught it had to run away from everyone as they were trying to tackle them. If it was fumbled, the next person would run. We would “win” by having the ball the longest lol. We always came home beat up but had a blast

I think Ren's point is... There isn't. At its core, we wear animal parts and eat animal flesh all the time. We wear tortoise shell sunglasses and tickle the ivory keys. Animal parts are animal parts. We ascribe meaning to them, just like words. But words are just words. 🤷🏼 Not saying I would ever wear a rabbits foot, that's just weird, but I see Ren's point.
@Water_Connoisseur
@Water_Connoisseur 4 ай бұрын
@@chloeeeezy it's fundamentally different, it's like saying that eating a rabbit dead on the streets and eating a rabbit from a store is the same. Well technically yes but no, not really. I remember playing Red Rover when I was younger, but it got banned at some point because it was a dangerous game, kid me was disappointed though. Two team make a line facing each other and each team hold each other's hands, then one team says "Red Rover! Red Rover, I call ___ (an opposing team person's name) over!" and then that person has to run at the enemy team's held hands and try to break through. It's almost like tackling.

A Fax Machine does the same job as what email does today and was widely used before the 90s when email started to take off. Like to use one you take a document, scan it into your fax machine and then dial another fax machine using the phone and then the 2 machines will connect and play this horrible noise to eachother (it reads data out through various pitches and tones) and the fax machine you sent yours to will then print the document. Some are still used cause considered a bit more secure than email and allows the direct transfer of medical documents and the like with signatures and everything as written but they are falling out of fashion rapidly due to video meetings and email.
