Working on the assumption you've never visited the UK, swimming across the English Channel is a huge challenge. In addition to the weather, tides and currents it's also the busiest shipping lane in the world. Organising the swim must have been a huge headache in terms of logistics.

Frank Warren has been raising money for DEBRA for years. He if i remember right holds a boxing night and charity auction event each year. Its a great cause.

One of the main fund raisers for this charity is an incredible man called Robin Hood who has raised huge amount of funds through various innovative ideas and projects. He is local to Dumfries and Galloway and his daughter had this disease. Not sure if Graham is aware of Robin but if not he should be in contact with him.
