I think Ange has seen the Tottenham fans for what they are. Arsenal live rent free in their heads and they are more concerned with stopping Arsenal win trophies then winning anything themselves. Started following Spurs this year because of Ange. As an Aussie, we cannot believe fans would ever want their own team to lose. It defies description, seem to be a sick and in many cases points to a pathetic fan base, not sure if this is common to english football or just Spurs. Suggests to me why other managers have struggled. As an Arsenal supporter, I really like this guy. The right mentality. It was pathetic to see Spurs supporters celebrating their team when it was clear that they weren't coming back from being two goals down. All some sad folk have in their lives is "schadenfreud " ( taking pleasure in other peoples misery) I have supported Spurs for 70 years. I am lucky enough to have come from a generation who had a sports master who would take us to play a school match on a Saturday morning and then play for Spurs in the afternoon. We took pride of watching George Robb scoring in Spurs in Tottenhams 10-4 victory over Everton in 1958. Bill Nicholson's first game as manager. All we wanted was for our team to WIN. Even when George Robb was taking us for history on the following Monday . And said sharply " Bernstein when I am playing for Spurs . I don't want to hear you shouting out COME ON GEORGIE !!
