I'm 6'3". What I have problems with are things are constantly too low. Like bathroom sinks, hand dryers, drinking fountains, the lower shelves at the grocery store. I'm always having to bend down much further than shorter people to use these things. It gets annoying.

The boss at my old job was like 7 foot tall (or at least, not really any smaller than Brittney; he used to be a professional volleyball player) and I was amazed how he managed to always to duck his head under doorways, even when walking backwards, he would always duck his head in time. I guess after running into doorways for 30+ years you slowly get the hang of avoiding them.

yes it doesnt sound tall but women who are 5'7" get called tall. i work in a mostly all male environment. we had these two young girls last year. one was 5'7" and everyone called her "the tall one". plus girls that height look tall with heels on. i love that height for a girl.

At a scratch under 6' 1", even I've run into that problem with ceiling fans. It happens when I'm doing yoga, and have to reach overhead. And since I have autism, and don't like being struck, startled, or touched . . . YIKES!!! It scares the crap out of me.

I'm 5'8 and the average height for women in the UK is 5'5 and for the USA is 5'3 I've always hated being tall because it's great to be tall for someone who fits being tall (anyone but someone like me) Everyone's like your so lucky But there's me being awkward I just wish the average height in every country for women was at least 5'5 because then I would only be 3 inches tall Or if I was 5'7 I would be satisfied But really I want to be 5'6 at the tallest sigh (5'3 at the smallest) Also my feet are size 6 but so slim I can never find shoes that fit me. They are all too wide especially pumps ugh. The only celebrities that are 5'8 women that I know are Kate Middleton And Jennifer Lawrence I would feel so much more confident if I was smaller which sounds strange but is true Also most guys are either the same size or smaller than me where I live it's so frustrating! I went to a garden centre and my aunt who is 5'7 kept on telling me to try out different seats and seat swings. When she went on it was comfortable. When I went on my head was above the seat cushion every time. :/

It is around 3 inches above the average height for a woman in the U.S, which would be equivalent to a 6' male. I don't know if you consider that average or tall, but if it's the latter then 5'7 is tall.

It's really fucked up lol. I'm 5'11 with size 11 shoe and other girls I ran into that are my height or even taller wear like a size 9 or even 8 and I'm like WHAT THE FUUUUUCK.

We all want to be taller than what we are, even when we're tall. Lol, I'm 6'3 and wish i was 6'5 or 6'6. I figured being 6'8, you'd be satisfied. I guess not, all though I know I would be. 6'10+ is pushing it.

that’s so true lmaoo. i’m not ashamed to admit that i’m 6’5 but my dream height is 6’8 .. so i bought lifts in my shoes to give me about a 2/3 inch boost and it’s not noticeable at all due to the fact my wingspan is 6’9 itself. it all looks natural lol

Sounds like a lot of insecure "boys" in here. "She has a deep voice". Well, she is almost 6'9". What kind of voice do you THINK she should have? "She has a flat chest." So what? A lot of "normal" women have flat chests. Get over yourselves.

I think Brittney has a pretty face but her demeanor is masculine, and the deep voice is probably due to elongated vocal chords. I think she's just a masculine girl (just like you have some feminine dudes, but they're still dudes!).

Really didn’t realize how disrespectful people can be. Brittney Griner is a girl, she was born a girl and still is a girl. She has baby pictures of her, and she was a girl then. She may not sound like a stereotypical girl, or look like how you think a girl should look like, but I assure you that she is and always has been a girl. Quit assuming that she’s transgender because of her appearance and voice. It’s really ignorant to do so and to spread false information that you really have no idea about.
