This is David's mom and I'm super excited that they got to share their home with everyone. Love visiting with them and the home is very comfortable when we are all inside. They both put their heart and soul into their tiny home as you can see by the smile on their faces. It's an adventure everyday.

Tell your mother I'll take any and every piece that you don't want! I can't imagine! If anything would talk me out of a tiny house, it would be not having enough room for heirlooms and books. Could not do without either.

This is just gorgeous and what a charming couple. Love everything about this one, so well thought out. Can never understand why so many people in tiny homes give over so much space to the kitchen whereas this one is perfect IMO. TFS.

Truly a fantastic home! To each their own on the kitchen though; we dedicated a lot of space to it in our tiny home with no regrets because we cook from home every day, multiple times of day 😄😊

It works for them, so that's great. But I absolutely love cooking, and I need tons of storage for all my kitchen gadgets. I'm having trouble finding a tiny house with enough cabinet space. Beyond that, our family always tends to gather in the kitchen! A beautiful big kitchen is a selling point for us.

My kitchen doesn't need to be beautiful but it needs to be big enough to easily fit a large kitchen table. I can't understand kitchen islands, but I grew up in a big family, and sitting at the table, just talking, is a great memory to have. I have no children, but my husband has children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and, of course, I have a ton of extended family. I could not be happy unless they could all be comfortable on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and the like in my house.

This was such a beautiful tour. Beautiful home, people, and fur babies! I live on the North Carolina coast and I loved seeing the beauty of the NC mountains in this tour. Cozy, comfortable, and so personalized with something lovely to look at, at every turn... This couple is living a life of joy, what greater success is there. Blessings to my fellow NC peeps! -I'm a yoga teacher too, loved seeing Joslyn's practice featured, especially her dogs helping her with her poses, so sweet.🙏

What a beautiful and inviting space! I live in a „normal“ house with a big garden and still love it, but there is a lot of work and time (and money) involved. Especially as we get older. This tiny home has everything you need, only on a smaller scale, and what a relief that must be. Well done!

Automatically I felt comfy vibe there !!! I love the ceiling in the wood !! So so nice ! I also love that it’s not cluttered looking ! So many people try to put to much in those homes. Love the mantle also !!! Tiny home living is on my bucket list also !! There isn’t any in Wisconsin that I know ! Hello! I lived in The Northwoods in St Germain, WI for 3 1/2yrs. So beautiful! But after I got bit by a tick and got Lyme Disease, I sold and moved back to IL. And earlier in the year I decided to sell that home after the 2 yr mark. I studied tinies for over 3 yrs and even went to CO to a fest July ‘21. So much fun and so informative. I traveled to TN to check out a builder and decided that wasn’t for me. In July I then came across Lil Bear Tiny Homes out of South Branch, MI. After a few messages and phone calls I traveled up to meet Mark White and see his beautiful model that was showcased. I knew when he walked up to me extending his hand and introduced himself, HE was going to be my builder!! I sold my house in Aug and my custom build started in Sept. I was going to go into a small mobile home park locally. Then I went to the village board where I grew up and moved back to after selling my house. I did a ‘tiny’ presentation and talked about the build process. I gave contact info for my builder. The next day the Mayor came by and said I’m approved to put one IN TOWN!! About 120 residents. So I bought a dbl lot next to my Mom’s and my Uncle’s properties. A house & garage burned a year ago. Most of the lot was cleared and cleaned. I still have areas to finish. I need full utilities including a new septic and leech put in. Just waiting to get it all done hopefully soon. The Tiny mite come home in a week! PLEASE reach out to Mark at Lil Bear Tiny Homes! Oh.. And if the time of year was earlier, I’m pretty sure that it can be transported across Lake Michigan from Ludington, MI to Manitowoc, WI on The Badger Ferry for you!! Having 4 cats I read alot about them and I've learned that cats do not like their food and litter close together--so maybe Madeleine's food should not be in an enclosed space with the litter.

I live in a Hotel/Apartment building in Dayton, Ohio. It is also known as the Biltmore, and it is a refurbished old Hotel that was quite prominent back in the day. People like Elvis, Maralyn Monroe and President Kennedy all have stayed here. Although it has such a history, I would love to have my own tiny home and I save all the ones I see so that I can get idea's I also have my own DJ/Karaoke gear, portable piano and guitars. I am thinking I would build a tiny home and then have a guest type of smaller second unit for the music.

So the cat's food is right next to her litter in a closed nook under the stairs all smells mixed? I'd be curious to know where you have some scratch post or play stuff for her, probably challenging to be a cat in a tiny with two big dogs?

We believe they bring her food out into the main bathroom and lock the door from the outside so the dogs can’t get in. Madeline & the dogs get along very well 😸

Yes we take the dogs on very long walks/runs on a he trails that are built throughout our neighborhood. And on the weekends they go on long hikes and pretty much everywhere else we can ❤❤

I love your home, your style of decor and how you met the needs of your animals. But I have to ask why you didn't reverse the placement of the stove and fridge so the door of the fridge would open up against the wall? Seems awkward the way it is now??? Just curious because you have such a well thought out layout so it seems out of kilter with the rest of the house. FYI: I am NOT poking fun....I am genuinely curious.

Maybe they’ll pop over and give you an answer, but we do you easily take of the fridge door & put it on so it opens the other way 😊

We had a different fridge when we first built the house so it did open against the wall. This fridge can we switched but the handles can’t be moved so you can only open it by just grabbing the seal and I’m not a big fan of that. We make it work, unless you enjoy cooking with the door open it’s not an issue haha

Disappointing to see pet families with tiny homes making minimal efforts for their pets. Could use less "pieces" and more wall climbers for their cat and moving the food and water away from the cat box. They seem more interested in "style" than pet care.

🤷🏼♀️Do you have a flushing toilet or compost?? Can you actually walk around in your loft bedroom?? Also when you move where do you move all of that glass and collection mugs and dishes and so forth knick knacks it must be a problem to try to get all of those things off the wall and try to find a place to put them in order for your trailer to be moved 🤷🏼♀️
