From an old school Juke. Talladega College is one of the Country's top HBCU bands. Nothing wrong with healthy comparisons though. Construction competition is good for the entire band scene. I believe this band can hold it's own in a head to head with any of the top HBCU'S. This is a fairly young program, and they're still building. Keep it up Dega. We're proud of your success.

How do they keep such a big band 300+ without a football team and a lot of schools who do have a football marching season struggle to get 100 members?

Eddie Grider They basically had no band before their head director Miguel, he got there and changed the program around. Research him. This dude is probably one of the best program recruiters I’ve ever seen. Literally builds programs like this from scratch.

@@sosasix1572 First off the camera man don't have nun to do with what's coming out the horn, if they audio trash it's gone make a band sound muddy, Talladega sound's fine to me. People so Su big headed everytime another band plays it's always something negative. Give credit when it's due.

Lenny Joseph I don’t think is Southern bigheaded bro, SU just sounds that good and everyone compares every other band sound to them and when it’s not that clean, balance or controlled they don’t like it... to me Dega sounds good for the most part, but on certain songs they sound like the arrangement is fighting written parts... When you go after one of the best bands in the nation you better have that sound A1 because people will compare it.
