No band reaches perfection over night, but I'm happy I can say I did not like Talladega when I first heard them a few years ago, but they have improved so much in such a short time that I couldn't help but be a TC Fan!!! So proud of the improvements you guys have made... Keep improving and finding your own nitch!

Miguel came a Hell of a long way. From Playing card games with my family for fun After school on the Parkway to the Director of 1 of the Best Bands in the Country. Every Band he got his hands on he turned them into head Bussas, running with the Best in a matter of a year or 2. So him getting his hands on a college band, we all From New Orleans knew they would they would be knocking at some heads very quickly. Well done Miguel. you already a Legend.

I never comment on the girls but DAMN they where good. That's a complete program great band and dancers. Now I will say this however, the music is a little elementary but hey they play it well so I guess they get a pass for that.

Personally I rocks with TC cause they are young and hungry. Reminds me when the NORFOLK ST. UNIV. SPARTAN LEGION stopped being the band often talked about but never seen to being one of the most electrifying bands in the M.E.A.C & H.B.C.U. Keep doing what you're doing TC. For those responding to their marching, Rome wasn't built in a day. It's not like they have a football team as to where they have to be on the field every week. Their field shows will come but the sound....already there my niggas. It doesn't take marching to bust ass, oh aiight.

Can everyone get off of TC's back. They have only been around a few years, and like any new band, they have new directors, section leaders, composers, and sponsors from other schools. So don't be so shocked if you think they sound like some other bands. .....Nobody said anything when AAMU went from having the Maroonettes, to having the Dancing Divas that dance and look similar to SU, .....Or when SCSU became the new Morris Brown! .....Or even when PVAMU Black Foxes started dressing and dancing like the other dance lines in the SWAC. ....Or when MVSU got larger and changed their sound to something similar to other SWAC schools. So no band owns any one style of field show, or sound for that matter. Except the person that wrote or arranged the music, and most of the time when that person leaves that particular school they take their arrangements with them or share them with other schools, because of close relationships they may have with some band directors. So that's how similar music arrangements and field shows get spread around.

TC folks aren't hatin on ya'll they're just trying to tell you that you all don't compare to the bands that have been in existence. In order to get respect you have to give it. As long as you continue to implement Southern's routines (having the same uniforms doesn't help) people will continue to remind you that you aren't on their level and critique you. It complements SU but as far as you all are concerned you'll never get the respect you want and deserve until you do your own thing.

They'll fine every little thing to criticize just to keep them down looking past every mistake they make and make excuses like SU not having have of their whole band....really....smh lol. All I see is jealous and hating which is a form of being scared and threatened. So if their not a threat then you shouldn't have anything to say.

All I hear is why they look so much like Southern, well y'all do know their band director is a juke so of course you imitate the best band in the land. Y'all won't give this band any props but yet they handle their business when playing against SU meaning they didn't get destroyed like JSU or TSU

The only reason niggas talk so bad about TC is because TC band members think they made it already nshit. Everybody in the comments saying it can't be done over night and all that stuff. But the people in the program act like they are flawless and on the same level as the other schools. So once the band itself realizes that they are on the come up we will give them that benefit of the doubt.

First off... When I left in 2012 the band program had just started for the person comparing TV band to ASU look how long ASU. Southern ain't all that great they sound good but it's not something that TX can't sound as good as or better than with a few years of practice. Nope TV doesn't have a football team and no matter how I feel about Billy Hawkins. He trying to bring these programs that the students of Talladega College want and need to grow the school. Talk all much as you want but I KNOW Talladega College has come a long way since I've been there. Deep in my heart I love my TC and rejects ha far from it... Give TC a few years before you start talking shit.

Talladega has made a habit out of calling bands who are much older than they are. I don't know if its just for show or what but the weakest dogs always bark the loudest. As for the show itself I think it was okay. A few things need to be worked on like marching and stuff like that but do whatever it is that suits you.

Its good to be proud of your band but stop talking like y'all doing something big get some years under your belt for repeating good years as a band and than say you coming up but not after two years of a OK band.
