What’s happening in this Talladega Nights movie clip?
Before the race, Jean (Sacha Baron Cohen from Borat and The Dictator) provokes Ricky (Will Ferrell from The Producers and Stranger than Fiction), who wants to drive despite his plaster. Ricky and Cal (John C. Reilly from Chicago and Stan and Ollie) affronts Jean, Cal saying "Shake and bake" as a punchline. Jean offers Ricky a kiss in exchange for his victory. Ricky refuses and leaves with Cal and his wife (Leslie Bibb from Iron Man).

What’s the Talladega Nights movie about?
Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell from The Producers and Stranger than Fiction) is raised alone by his mother. His father, a racing driver, returns one day for a school presentation where he describes his job, and leaves with the slogan "if you're not first, you're last". Years later, Ricky became a famous NASCAR driver, he won many races, and became rich by doing many commercials. He is assisted by another driver, his childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly from Chicago and Stan and Ollie). It is then that the Frenchman Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen from Borat and The Dictator), a Formula 1 driver, challenges them. Ricky Bobby has an accident during the first race that pits him against Jean Girard. When he is released from hospital, he tries to come back on the circuit, but now afraid of speed, fails. His wife leaves him for Cal, who moves into his house. Ricky returns to live with his mother and becomes a pizza delivery boy. His missing father resurfaces and helps him overcome his fear. He then comes back to run an errand. An accident in the peloton leaves him the only driver still racing with his rival Jean. Another accident occurs shortly before the finish line. They finish the race by foot, at the end of which Ricky is just ahead of Jean. The rules disqualify drivers who cross the finish line on foot, and Cal is declared the winner of the race.
