Nicolas Barrioz made a bet with one of his best friends that he could break the Guinness World Records title for the tallest rideable bicycle.
The attempt, alongside his friend David Peyrou who rode the bicycle on the ady, was used as an opportunity to show people and particularly the younger generation what can be possible with less than €1000 (£860) using just a starter tool kit and big dreams.

Not trying to ruin the record but that has 3 wheels so it would be the worlds largest tricycle not bicycle, right?

The previous record holder did it without a harness. 25 ft. These guys could never.

@@cchhey3812 how would it possibly be over 900 pounds? under 30 metres of thin aluminium tubing, a steel frame on the bottom, 20 metres of not terribly thick lumber? should be well under 300 pounds, if not under 200.

Personally, I think I would be wearing a better helmet. That bicycle helmet is made for falling from 5 feet off the ground, not 25 feet!

between the two cranes, two ropes, he's not falling very far. the helmet is there only because he can bang into the equipment itself, whether that'd be the scissor lifts or the bike itself
