After fleeing Estonia during WW11, my family went to Germany and were in a Misplaced Camp. I never could understand WHY Germany as this was still wartime. But my family said the German people were very nice to them. My mom later met an American GI still stationed in Germany and that is how she came to America. My daughter-in-law in from Germany and my ex-inlaws were of German ancestory.

My mothers homeland. Many relatives still there. I went there and met many of them. The city is beautiful as you can see. My family lived there until WW11 when they fled and my mom ended up coming to America.
