Breaking Wave is actually fucking dope. The explosion when they hit a wall also knocks them around, so you just pinball enemies around while they take a bunch of damage from hitting walls. Poseidon with rapid shot bow and double arrows is how I beat the game my first time. I could bully dad into a corner because the knockback is so strong.

Any time I try a specific build it blows up in my face. I've gotten to Styx with literally every Dionysus boon except Strong Drink which was the ONE build I wanted from him in the first place & why I started the run with his damned Keepsake. Anymore I just like to go in blind and see what happens. I usually only bother restarting if I get a really bad hammer with the Rail since Satyr tunnels & Hades depend heavily on decent hammer upgrades or getting an OP cast setup like Blizzard Shot + Hermes Legendary.

Interesting. It's my strongest build so far. I tried it twice and both times I beat my personal speed record. I think it's just stupidly op.

Since I’m here, I wanna say that I beat the main story to the game! Funnily enough, I also got the event that lets me unlock the Aspect of Lucifer that run, and if Zeus is the only one why can give the dialogue then no wonder I never got it until now since I barely get Zeus boons lol

Mate, I just watched my friend do something unintentional, but I think it would be amazing. I call it, the Ballista bow. You need Explosive shot, and then I think something like power shot and just a nice high damage modifying boon. Daddy Haelian, you need to make this happen.

i've gone into a trial with one of the gods' keepsake and refreshing nectar and didn't get a duo boon after 2 rerolls. Whoever said you can get duos from a trial is lying

According to the wiki you can never get a duo boon of the two gods in the trial. Otherwise I don't know

Shoals very much work against Hades. You just can't make him move, you must wait him to do so himself. Those 77 ticks you see come from shoals. Anyway, Poseidon isn't that good against bosses indeed (except splashy dash is bonkers if you still get sea storm on top of it), but otherwise is really fun.
