Play instructions are very easy to find online, and it's pretty simple to figure out 😁 Any restoration videos of Tamagotchi are super interesting to me. I played the Connection V3 as a kid, and have now collected over thirty different Tamagotchi from all kinds of different versions.

Good job on restoring this Tamagotchi! The setup process to play is pretty simple: you press the middle button to go to the clock screen, use the left button (A) to set the hours and the middle button (B) to set the minutes, then press the right button (C) when you're all done. It'll hatch five minutes later. The pet's meant to double as a watch. And fun fact, this shell design never did have a logo on it, but it's nice to see what it would've looked like with it!

That was an original gen 1 1997 tamagotchi, there was an US and an European version, the US one didnt have the logo at all and the EU version had it in blu. Beside that good restoration!

The original never had tamagotchi written on top. Gen 2 did

this was so helpful. I was only getting a couple pixels on the screen and tightening the back screws made it work again. I cleaned all the parts, but the left button is still no working. any ideas?

yo! I have a Tamagachi I need repaired and would like a modification done to it, do you take repair commissions? the two wires for the speaker are busted, I really wanted to do some form of backlight mod to it but I don't have the technical skills to pull it off without messing it up more 😔
